We were pleasantly surprised at the vibrancy of the city and how much there is to see and do! What a great city! We had a wonderful dinner at Storia Cucina and met the talented head chef, Helen who came over to say hello, which made our evening. And next door at Red Light we got one of the best cocktails we’ve had in a long time. All the people we encountered were down kind and down to earth. Hope to be back soon.

Bellingham is a smallish, funky and cute town with 19th century beginnings. It has a lot of character and is surrounded by a lot of natural beauty. I would like to go again and enjoy the lake and the sound, hiking and other scenic areas. There are good restaurants and parks around the city for walking. It is very bicycle friendly and pet friendly, and the people seem really nice and laid back.

Staff and food were good.
Staff and food were good.
Staff appeared overwhelmed and overworked!
Worst, most disgusting room ever.
Pool area was poorly ventilated and over 100F.
Very disappointing.
Could have have gone a cruze for what we paid.
Great location, walkable to shops, restaurants, beach, boulevard park. Breakfast was just coffee, tea and muffins. Wine at happy hour was great to sit on the upstairs deck and enjoy the sun, or play games in the cozy lounge. The room was really large, so was the price tag but we stayed mid week so paid less. The Irish Nachos at Archer's pub were amazing! Breakfast at Keenan's with heat lamps on the patio is great. So many bookstores in Fairhaven but my favorite is walking to Wood's coffee shop on the water.
Great value for money. Rooms were large and very clean. We were upgraded to a larger room to fit all 5 of us at no cost. They gave us an extra appetizer because it was my birthday. The pool is on the smaller size but my kids can have fun in anything. Free evening drink was a nice touch. Breakfast in the morning was tasty and had everything we needed. The breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. We would 100% stay here again or at another Oxford suites hotel.
Any time we visit Bellingham we book the GuestHouse Inn, the price has always been exceptional for the room you get; the location is great (close to downtown and right by the freeway) and they allow pets. Even though we have never stayed with our pet, we liked having the option. Also, in pre Covid times they offered free breakfast. We always recommended the GuestHouse to family and friends.
We stayed here a year ago and found the location (near the airport) and the hotel so pleasing, we wanted to return. The room was very clean and comfortable, bathroom well lit and modern. We ate our meal in the room and appreciated the table on wheels available for our meal. The staff was friendly and responsive, top notch!
Hotel was clean, comfortable, and overall one of the best stays I've had anywhere. The staff was friendly and more than accommodating to every need we had during our stay. Highly recommend the Coachman Inn if you're looking for a place in Bellingham.
Loved the waterfront property and the
ability to walk to Fairhaven or take
the longer walk into downtown.
So many great restaurants all around
town. We also had a fantastic
experience getting facials in the spa.
The hotel was better than I expected for the price. It was a great location and the front desk staff were unbelievably kind and helpful. The continental breakfast was a happy surprise as well!
The night staff was pleasant and the room was clean and quiet. The hotel is older and is a home for some people but we didn't have any issues. Good value for a few hours sleep. Nothing fancy.
Location is excellent for walking to downtown Bellingham sites (including the performing arts center and restaurants). Appreciated free parking and friendly staff. Bed was very comfortable.
This is an aging, cheap hotel that it looks like the owners work very hard to keep running. It is convenient to Western Washington University, and a pleasant walk from downtown restaurants.
It wasn't what was promised. There was a lot of confusion due to the merger with Marriott hotels who had instituted new policies that did not match what was promised with the reservation.
The location and immediate access to the freeway has no rivalry. Just a couple miles from Downtown Bellingham. In general a very decent value from the money. I’d likely stay in again.
Very comfortable beds and relaxing jet spa bathtub. Pretty location on the water with bicycle rental. Easy access to downtown Bellingham. Good food at patio restaurant.
You definitely pay for the location. The bay is stunning, the hotel was beautiful, we really enjoyed corn hole on the patio, and I loved that our room had a balcony.
