The view from the room was excellent, allowed for peace and quite at all times. Sitting on the deck having a morning coffee and later on a cocktail was comfortable and peaceful.
The staff were amazing, beyond what I've experienced elsewhere on the island. Food and drinks were provided in a very timely manner and the quality was again superior to anywhere else I've stayed before in Rarotonga.

The rooms are luxurious and as described and the staff go above and beyond to help make your stay comfortable. The location is near a car/scooter rental although far from most things we ended up doing - most things were in Muri beach which is about 25 minutes drive away.

Stunning view from this oceanfront and upscale villa. The deck is very large with glass partitions so the view is absolutely unobstructed! The facilities are spacious and very modern and new. The beds are super comfortable with lovely linens and pillows. The bathrooms are amazing with a shower to die for. Plenty of hot water and towels. The kitchen had every amenity possible even an espresso machine with pods provided. All the appliances are in perfect condition and the fridge was even stocked with a nice cold bottle of water and champagne!! Wow! Thanks! The living room furniture was nice and comfy. There is an excellent washer and outside clothes line for drying. We didn't need to use the AC because of the light breeze and weather we experienced but the AC is new and in each bedroom. We hope to stay here again!

Rarotonga is a must if you are looking for a slow chilled holiday, we loved it and we had a 6 month old with us. The people are all lovely and the food was quite divine, especially Takitumu tapus in Muri. The sea is phenomenal and we were lucky enough to just be out swimming by ourselves and see turtles. Resorts are welcoming even if you are not staying there. We were told it was pricey however we found it rather inexpensive, some things were on par with NZ and even a little cheaper at times for the quality. Loved our trip and will be back, note if you are there on a Sunday- most things are closed, however some eateries are still open just to be aware.

Our trip was amazing, however there was one theme that was a huge put off. Some of the places we went had absolutely horrible attitudes towards us. Rude with no greetings and sour faces, it is not nice to be treated like that. This was NOT at every place we went but it was enough times to stand out.
Apart from that....it was a fun filled trip

Rarotonga is a great place to visit.
Rarotonga is a great place to visit. Its layed back and the weather is very nice. The beaches are great. We ate at Supper Browne in Tupapa at their cafe which was reasonably cheap steak meal. The local food on the early morning on Sunday was fantastic. Going to the movies could be good for young couples to spend some quality time without being too occupied with big expensive activities.
Lovely hibiscus flowers and fruit in our room on arrival, transfers to and from the airport, use of bicycles and helmets, the friendly and extremely helpful staff, the lagoon outlook, swimming pool, free use of washing machine and laundry powder, lots of good places to eat at Muri Beach area. Local little supermarket and two bicycle/ car hire an places nearby and a souvenir shop and a bakery. Buses stop right outside our resort. Plus the use of the lounge and be each towels to use and free use of snorkeling gear
An oasis. Surroundings peaceful and beautiful garden and pool. Great for a solo traveler. Safe and relaxing. Very clean and everything there to make my stay wonderful. Enjoyed the bike supplied. Close to areas I enjoyed, Rarotongan for swimming, shops 10 mins on bike and a host of beaches great for snorkeling or swimming close by. Thankyou for your wonderful hospitality. Make sure your bring your own snorkel and reef shoes and check them before you leave home. THANKYOU!
The accommodation was beautiful and very well kept, quiet and gave great views from the rooms over the pool to the lagoon and from the restaurant across the pool to the lagoon. Very modern facilities, good beach access and pool facilities.
All staff were friendly and very helpful with all our needs. Great location to Muri Beach Village and all this beautiful part of Rarotonga has to offer.
Would 110% stay at Moana Sands Lagoon Resort again!
Staff go above and beyond to provide guests with the highest level of support.
It has become like a ‘second home’ as I have visited Rarotonga a number of times and love staying at the Edgewater.
It’s very clean and comfortable.
It has become rather expensive like a lot of accommodation on Rarotonga as prices have risen.
Special thanks to Tametoa and Martha.
Kindest Regards
Anni
Great location on Muri Beach, responsive owner and staff with a lot of nice touches. We particularly like the availability of an in room massage. The place is within walking distance to activities and restaurants. And located right by the night market. Owner was upgrading the WiFi while we stayed there and it was much improved before we left.Hope to come next year with a group.
The situation was superb: right on the beach, and a stroll to the water. It was tidal, which was fine. At full tide it was only waist deep, but the water was clear and warm, with sand underfoot.
The bungalow exceeded expectations: it was roomy, well decorated, excellent furniture (including large bed), and stove top for the coffee pot, and really really clean.
The view is insane. The snorkeling out the front is the best we had all over island. The photos don't capture how beautiful it is. House is huge, comfortable and well equipped. Has everything you need. Fancy views but homey house. Little store directly across road and big supermarket 10 minute walk away. Bus stops right outside.
Amazing location. Beach is the best on the island. Beautiful. The apartment is very comfortable, right on the beach- and the air conditioning and wi-fi were perfect for what we needed. Very handy having Wigmore’s superstore almost across the road. We doubt there would any other apartment on Rarotonga that is better than this.
Amazing location. Better than expected. Having stayed at Muri beach on our last vacation, I now realise that this part of Rarotonga is more beautiful and peaceful. The staff at Lagoon Breeze are fantastic and nothing is a problem as all they want to do is make your holiday perfect. Thanks Vikki. This is our new fav place!
Best location - lagoon is stunning.
Free and unlimited use of SUP, kayak and snorkelling gear.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating especially with assisting to book excursions, taxis, etc.
Meals purchased at the resort are delicious and of high quality.
Cleanliness of hotel and housekeeping of rooms was great.
Lovely clean and spacious villa with fans and aircon, comfy bed, good shower. Great cocktails
Excellent location with beach across the road but also easy walking distance to best ra'ui lagoon area
Chatting with staff who knew some of the people we knew when we lived here 40 yrs ago....
Great place to stay, everything clean, new and modern. the bungalows are well off the main road so it is very quiet. Nice welcome notice on the front door. Easy walk to cafes, resorts and Muri beach. The manager checked in during our stay to see if everything was OK.
Easy check in, beach view was exactly that watching sunset from porch each night, bus stop at drive way, plenty of places to eat within walking distance, beach was very private, lots of rocks but still sandy patches, best at low tide
Liana & Sera were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, our villa was spotless, the beds were super comfy. We were able to use facilities at Muri Beach Club Hotel, which is a magnificent property. I will definately be coming back
nice location with lots of bars and places to eat nearby.
bus stop is right opposite, including a good grocery store.
place was roomy and relaxing. appreciated the lack of mossies in the room and true owners were very friendly.
What an incredible stay!!!
Amazing staff that go the extra mile to make you feel special, beautiful well-appointed villa and hands down the best beach in Rarotonga. Nothing to fault at all!
Thank you, team Motu.
Location to beachfront ideal. Good proximity to Wigmores Supermarket, easy drive to Muri Beach and a few nice restaurants. Great snorkelling at Fruits of Rarotonga.
