Hotels near Falcon Lake

Can not tell anything the place was closed i have not had a holiday in 22 months and looking for a room spent 4 hours and 120 km's later never have been like this before there will be further action on my behalf.

I loved the natural setting and the cabins are tucked away in woods. Lake right across the street and local shops within a 3 min walk. I stop at Falcon Lake often when travelling to and from Alberta to Ontario. Its always a nice place to just unwind and get away from all the transport trucks on the main highway.

The worst experience ever! Due to forest fires and difficulty breathing we had to cancel at the last minute and leave! We have requested online cancelation as directed by hotel front desk staff. We have received email confirming our request but have been waiting ever since! Charges were applied to our visa by Falcon lake hotel, even if couldn't stay, as well Booking.com charged their fee. We have contacted Hotel re refund, but no help! Very disappointed in site, and hotel!

Overall it was a place to sleep. The smell in the bathroom (male cat pee) and the fact that I couldnt even open my door made the experience bad. My room wasn’t ready when I arrived at 6pm so I was able to explore the town a bit which provides a beautiful view, from the front. At the back of the motel, which is where I was placed, was the entrance to the beer store so vehicles were in and out all night which meant I got no sleep. The ceiling looks likes it’s about to cave in and the blankets had stains on them (thankfully I brought my own) I don’t even think the carpet was vacuumed. But the staff was very friendly and helpful

Tell your patrons that the waterslide and pool are CLOSED!!! Advise that your nightclub is RIDICULOUSLY LOUD!! Have better customer service for your patrons who are paying good money to stay in your hotel! Odd hotel in a beautiful setting!
