The view is fabulous, sunrise and sunset was enjoyed from the balcony. Nice thick blankets were provided for the winter and plenty of dishwasher tablets were appreciated! Great communication so we could just turn up and pick up the key!

Loved the location and the pool. The studio has everything you need and more, and was very comfortable. The price is a bit steep considering it seems to be off peak. The island was very quiet and most restaurants were closed or had limited menu options and closed very early, eg. the mexican place, the Oasis, decided to sell only pizzas, no mexican food. The only other place to eat was the hotel. At 7pm they had run out of curries, and offered only burgers and fish and chips. Recommend you bring food!

Apartment 32 on the top floor had a beautiful view over the ocean which could be enjoyed from the living area and from the master bedroom. There were two comfortable couches (one 2 seater and one 3 seater) plus a dining table in the spacious living area. There was also plenty of seating and another table on the huge balcony. The night sky was full of stars. Well equipped kitchen with medium sized fridge, and two bathrooms (one with bath). It was just a short walk out the back of the hotel to Home Beach, a lovely long white sandy beach. Reception was closed when we arrived, but check in was very easy and convenient. The bus from the SeaLink Ferry stopped right outside our accommodation (Dickson Way at Home Beach bus stop), and bus fares were just 50 cents for adults (cash or card). The road house where you can buy take away (burgers, chips, etc. plus other general supplies) was short walk away at Adder Rock (the bus from the ferry stops here too).

We had a gorgeous view of the sea and the whales and were especially glad of the binoculars made available by Brenda! The following comments are definitely not a complaint, but a few small things it would be good to include: information access in binder to Wifi (did not know it was on the wifi router until the end of our trip); we did look but perhaps missed seeing the info? a couple washcloths 2 handtowels (one provided) hours of restaurants (we arrived Sunday and were unaware all establishments closed by 3pm, except for gelato!)

We absolutely loved staying here! Very spacious apartment with living area up stairs and bedrooms down stairs. There were a bunch of great board and card games to play also. We cooked all our meals here and though the kitchen had the appropriate facilities to do so. Remember to bring your own salts. Oils. Sauces etc Short walk down to the main strip and cafes etc. We did drive around most of the island however not to far of a walk either.

The beach shack was perfect! It has everything you need for a nice and relaxing getaway. The bed was super comfortable. The location is great, you are close to point lookout (by car, although I think there is public transport as well) and there is access to a beach just crossing the road. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

Management were lovely. They called the morning of our booking and offered an early check in as our room was ready early. As it was our first time in the island, they left us some tips for the island which we found very helpful. The tennis court and bbq area were also excellent.

A beautiful spot. Love the walks and beaches.

A beautiful spot. Love the walks and beaches. Everybody on the island is welcoming. We did luck out with food one night as we left it till after 6.30 pm and the one place we went to was fully booked. We had no car either so had to make sandwiches. Would be nicer if there were more takeaway/food truck options.

There was nothing we could be unhappy with.

There was nothing we could be unhappy with. Although winter, the weather was kind and the views spectacular. We enjoyed a BBQ with a few drinks as the sun went down and were then joined by some cheeky curlews to cement our delight. Although there were only three of us we felt the overall quality of the property afforded the expense. Note: The property does require a vehicle as it's not walking distance to shops etc., but this was clear in the description and we were prepared.

Point Lookout is a very picturesque place and Home Beach is a lovely, sandy beach with crystal clear water for swimming. We attended a wedding on this beach in June and the weather was 23deg, warm and sunny. There is a bowls club, a surf club and quite a few eateries in the area. The Oasis had a great vive inside and amazingfood, esp pizzas. Lots of different beaches and walks. The gorge walk really good to do!

Point Lookout is gorgeous, I would ensure to manage it well to avoid over crowding and to educate both tourists and community on how to care the incredible beauty of nature you have, now and into the future. The Blue Room cafe and bookshop are divine. 6 beaches restaurant was also good, especially the Irish girl who worked there...she really adds value to the restaurant. Mostly though it is the nature that is your number one draw card. Wildlife and scenery. Protect and conserve it. Stunning. Thank you.
