Heritage property at an excellent location to explore Haridwar and not too far from Rishikesh. We had a Ganga view room with the swimming pool right at our doorstep. The 'Welcome Ritual' was a heartwarming surprise for us. All staff and concierge were very professional and friendly. The hotel private evening aarti ceremony was an introduction to what to expect from the Har Ki Pauri evening aarti. Day trips with local guides from 'The Adventure Team' to the holy temples were offered by the hotel. We also did the morning Ganga walk with the guide. There are a few restaurants at the property and staff were very helpful with suggesting local food. Highly recommend this hotel.

We recently celebrated our son’s first birthday at Welcomhotel ITC Savoy, Mussoorie, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences for our family. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by warmth, hospitality, and a sense of old-world charm that this beautiful heritage property is known for. The hotel has a rich legacy dating back to 1902, and you can feel its history in every corner – from the stunning architecture to the antique pieces like the 1820 billiard table and the vintage piano from 1895. It truly feels like stepping into a different era, yet with all the modern comforts one could ask for. One of the highlights of our stay was, of course, the food! We enjoyed a mix of flavors at The Grand Dining Hall, indulging in classic dishes with a touch of local flair. The Royal Afghan was a treat with its amazing North-West Frontier cuisine – the smoky grilled kebabs were an absolute delight. And for those who love a good drink in a cozy setting, The Writer’s Bar is the perfect spot to unwind while soaking in the historic ambiance. Apart from the birthday celebration, this trip also turned into a beautiful family reunion. The lush green surroundings, cool mountain breeze, and the hotel's peaceful vibe made it the perfect getaway for all of us. The little details – from the personalized service to the unique Savoy postmark at the hotel’s own post office – made the experience even more special. If you're planning a trip to Mussoorie, I highly recommend staying at ITC Savoy. Whether it's for a celebration, a quiet retreat, or simply to soak in the history of this legendary place, it's an experience worth having. We will definitely be telling all our friends and family to visit this gem of a hotel! Looking forward to coming back soon!

    Spending time by the Ganga was wonderful—great food (especially near Parmarth Niketan), calm beaches, and plenty of places to explore. The only downside was that some groups of youngsters were there just to smoke and drink, which can spoil the vibe. My advice: double-check your stay before booking so you don’t run into that issue.

    Nice but a bit congested. A very good place to visit for a peaceful and tranquil experience. Nice and honest people. No cheating with tourists. Not much of an activity, but a good place to unwind and enjoy the nature and weather.

    Hosting isn't a forte in entire uttarakhand. It's beautiful, but too many people are closed minded and unpassionate about what they do, yet charges are high across the board. So, adjust expectations beforehand.

    Haridwar is a city of God . Awesome Morning and Evening Arti. My Family enjoyed alot . Market is very cheap. 2 days min required to see all temple. Station is very near . There is fight till Dehradun .

    Not green enough, options other than resorts are minimal or nil. We went to kosi river ramnagar it was very dirty. N a food restaurant near it was very unhygienic, it was smelling of dead rats. It was pathetic.

    There are many more less explored resorts in Uttrakhand like ranikhet mukteshwar etc which offer pristine and great panoramic view. Bhimtal is crowded and may be okay for the first time travellers to Uttrakhand.

    Haldwani is a city bursting with life. It is located in the foothills of Himalayas. It has issues of Traffic congestion,due to this being a place connecting Nainital and other beautiful locations. It has a bunch of good restaurants and shopping malls. Overall a good city!

    Stayed here for 3 nights and yet felt short. Went to Waterfall, Bhimtal, Kainchi Dham, Mukteshwar Temple, Zero Point and Chauli Ki Jali. Great trip. Stayed at a Homestay Ecoescape Mukteshwar and it was a really good experience. Overall, accommodation and nearby places made our stay amazing.
