What a beautiful town!
What a beautiful town! Picturesque with a very long ocean foreshore and great play parks and play facilities for kids. I was only there very briefly, I would like to go back to visit the art gallery and museum and other local attractions.Guest review byKarenAustralia - 10.0

Visiting on an overnighter the room was fresh and welcoming. We had a unit out the back with a glimpse of the ocean but still lovely. Small quiet town with a lovely fish and chip shop - would say the best I have ever had !Lovely friendly townsfolk, unfortunately we only stayed the night and didnt have a chance to venture and see the touristy sitesGuest review byAnonymous - 8.0
Dongara is a great location.
Dongara is a great location. To have the beach nearby and then wildflowers and rural communities near as well. Though it was winter it was still wonderful to catch the sunset at the beach. Restaurants were fabulous and the town had a good vibe.Guest review byJillianAustralia - 2.0

I would not recommend this property to anyone, is disgusting, they need big renovations or they need to be knocked down, they have curtains on the doors for the bathroom. the head board for the bed is painted, overall the furniture is disgusting the furniture is old and the rooms are not even a 1 star they are terrible.Guest review byTamara CouncillorAustralia - 8.0

port denison / dongara has a very laid back feel to the place, there are numerous beaches that offer protected swimming but there are limited shops but enough around to offer a good choice of coffee & cakes, and a few different take away options. plenty of grassed area in the Port Denison bay area and it seems a number of the caravan parks have jumpy pillows for the kidsGuest review byEwellAustralia - 10.0

Friday night at the pub was fun - a cool musician from Geraldton entertained and people stayed on and on. Good food and very hospitable bar staff. Cue was an unexpected highlight on the very last night of our trip back from the Pilbara to Perth.Guest review byJenniferAustralia - 8.0

The visitors centre was great, so we were aware of more to see. All businesses were super friendly and had suggestions of sightseeing. Evening dining was limied to the pub which has excellent pub food. Day time was limited to one bakery/coffee only open till early afternoon.Guest review byGlenysCAustralia - 8.0
We were just passing through, so not much time to sight see.
We were just passing through, so not much time to sight see. Sunset beach caravan park was very nice, right on the beach with good access. We had really good Fish and Chips, just a short drive away, Sunset Fish and Chips. Good quality fish, cooked really well, thin crispy batter, not oily. Order ahead, they get really busy.Guest review byRowie71Australia
