Room was clean and quiet. AC worked well. The bar that you could access from the hotel directly was nice. Plenty of parking space. Breakfast was delicious and there was a lot of variety on offer. Check-in was quick and smooth.

The staff is super. Helpful. Friendly and informative. We had a 4am ferry arrival and a midnight ferry departure they accommodated both with personal service. Our departure was 3 days after we had checked out to go up to Eckero and they still welcomed us back stored our bags for 12 hours gratis. It’s a big hotel nice room with a view of the marina. Central location. WiFi was medium strength. Cell signal was 3 bars. Plenty of electrical outlets. Plumbing was modern and well kept. Patio was a plus. Breakfast was large and abundantly stocked. No custom eggs though. Dining room was always near full and the staff kept up with demand. Past reviews had mentioned noise from a disco/casino but we did not encounter that issue and I think the casino is closed.

This hotel is a real deal. It is located in a wonderful location as far as the road network on the Brändö group of islands is concerned, but also in a wonderful natural setting just above the sound that separates small islet where the hotel is located from Björnholma island. I still feel the pleasure by sitting in my room in the late evening and looking through a large window toward the sunset and the enchanting sound. The hotel is very well taken care of, the cleanliness is on a highest levels and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is tasty, fresh and varied. I really enjoyed it. Also, their restaurant is a very good one. I remember their amazing fish buffet dinner. That salmon in butter and dill and one another plant that I do not remember the name, was simply to be remembered. I also used their bike rental service and enjoyed every single minute of my stay their. I definitely recommend this property without any hesitation.

Kökar doesn't have a lot of choice for accomodation but this was a nice place. The pizza in the restaurant was good and so was the breakfast. The sauna and a quick dip in the sea before continuing my journey the next day was the highlight for me. Room wasn't too hot as the worst heat had already passed.

Location next to ferry terminal was very convenient and views of ships were nice. Despite being a small room, the layout was cleverly done, much like the space-saving layout in a ship cabin. Things were clean and tidy, despite being a little cramped. Good for the one night we stayed there. Parking in rear lot was sufficient and fairly convenient.

Hotel Esplanad is 656 feet from Mariehamn’s main street, Torggatan. It offers simple yet comfortable rooms with cable TV and free parking. Mariehamn Harbor and Ferry Terminal is 10 minutes’ walk away....

Amazing breakfast, convenient location, very functional - had to do some work and internet and the set-up were perfect. There's also great parking available by the hotel and staff were very helpful.
