We were greeted with a welcome glass of fizz and informed of all the facilities. We had a two bedroom suite with a huge terrace. The rooms are very stylish and comfortable. Each guest is given a spa bag with robe and towels included to use during their stay. The spa has everything you need for a relaxing health break, a good selection of treatments are also available to book. Refreshments such as teas and juices are available in the spa free of charge, the spa area is very serene. Included in our package was a four course evening meal, which you could upgrade to five course, the food was really delicious. The hotel also offers an extensive wine menu to suit all budgets. The following morning at breakfast we were welcomed to our table and served a homemade ginger and apple shot. The selection of breakfast food available was extensive and again was delicious. Beautiful and historic little city in a gem of a nation. We loved walking around the old town and enjoyed the natural beauty. It's easy to forget that Luxembourg exists next to Germany, France and Belgium but it's worth checking out. I only stayed 1 night, so I didn't get to really dive in to what makes Remich tick. It was a quaint little town with a large waterfront area that was fun to walk around. The city is a mixture of old and new architecture, with a nice and vibrant old city, and a newer side of the city which looks like any other European big capital. Free transportation makes it easier to commute from everywhere, but to be honest, two days is already too much for what Luxemburg offers in terms of touristic attractions. Main attraction (on paper) is the old castle, which underground corridors could be visited, but in all honesty could be better preserved and guided tour being a requirement to understanding the history behind the walls.Guest review byAdrian - 10.0

Mettlach is a charming small town in Germany with many good shops. The church is also impressive. There are a lot of very nice hikes easily accessible from there offering tranquility and interesting landscape alongside the river Saar, for example. It was the most surprising visit to a European capital.. in a good way. Public transport in Luxembourg is completely free - that's incredible! The trams also have extraordinary lightning. The city is very clean, like probably the cleanest city I've ever been to. This is an upscale spa where guests can go to get away from it all and get pampered in a variety of ways with excellent food and all the necessary comforts. We used it as our home base to see family and attend the Formula 1 at Spa Franchorchamps.
