This is a really good budget hotel, perfect if you are passing through. The location isn't the most scenic, being as the hotel shares it's exterior with a BP garage and the whole area is quite industrial with more garages and lorries parked up. This doesn't matter if your travelling coast to coast and just want a decent stopover. The hotel is clean and modern. The rooms are spacious with tv,, wi-fi and a shower bath combo. The hotel has a restaurant/cafeteria/bar combo which means you don't have to go out and search for something to eat, It also has a small shop, And I was able to park right outside, despite their website saying they didn't have any parking.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 8.0

On previous visits to Lerma the town has been buzzing in the evenings, on this occasion, a Tuesday night in mid-June the entire place was shut making it very difficult to find somewhere for dinner. If you intend to visit do your research first to find what will be open.Guest review byhilts250United Kingdom - 8.0

Lovely hotel, perfectly situated for travelling back and forward to the south of Spain and Algarve as it's just off the motorway. Ample parking with electric charging points, staff are always friendly and welcoming. Food is good in both cafeteria and restaurant. The only negative is the room was uncomfortably hot for sleeping in, we turned off the radiator early and put on the air conditioning but that made little difference. It's a shame because it ruined our stay.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We have used this hotel for the last few years as our stopover on the way to Bilbao, the accommodation is good, clean and comfortable, and the buffet breakfast is plentiful and enjoyable. We find the staff friendly and helpful. We will be staying again in October.Guest review byKaronUnited Kingdom - 6.0
As an overnight stop the hotel was acceptable.
As an overnight stop the hotel was acceptable. For a longer stay, it would be nice to have had a bed that wasn't so hard. I can't say if all the mattresses are the same as this was the first time we stayed but you know when you sit on the bed and it doesn't move with the weight of a heavy adult it is more than firm. The staff were great but apart from being able to get a coffee and a toasty there were no facilities open, this may have been the time of year as they were catering for a large external party downstairs in the restaurant during the day. There is a restaurant a few hundred metres away but that wasn't open at lunch so we eneded up buying a couple of baggettes from Lidl. The staff were kind enough to provide us some cutlery and they didn't mind us taking food to our room. It would have been nice to have had a kettle in the room however I seem to recall a coffee machine in the cafe part of the hotel were you could get a drink.Guest review byColinUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Burgos is a walkable city. It takes its time so should you.
Burgos is a walkable city. It takes its time so should you. The Cathedral is beautiful and there is a Monastery 30 min walk away from Plaza Mayor that is a must see (tour are few and far between so check the opening and tour times - they are in Spanish so bring google audio translate if you are not Spanish speaking). We loved the restaurant Mar del Norte for amazing seafood. Read the reviews of other for tapas as we found the plating of food too plentiful at times. The people are really lovely and the city is beautiful. We stayed 10 days because of a dance competition but 3 days should be enough for average tourists.Guest review byMarilyn - 10.0
Aranda is much bigger than I anticipated.
Aranda is much bigger than I anticipated. It has a compact but interesting “/centro historico” without the usual array of old churches, but instead some very interesting shop fronts and buildings. Few chain stores but mainly all locally owned businesses, which appears to be thriving as few empty shops. Not many formal restuarants, and they don’t open until 8pm, ( try the lamb cutlets, a local specialty, plus the Ribera del duero wine) but lots of atmospheric tapas bars with a good choice, at prices much lower than the Costas. Great truly spainish ambience, no tourist menus. If you want real Spain, but not a dusty deserted pueblo, come here.Guest review byPhilipUnited Kingdom
