First class breakfast- mushrooms, tomatoes, bread, jellies,eggs…everything e could have wanted. Spacious kitchen. Lots of coffee and tea. Large, well appointed bathroom. Four rooms total. All generously sized and adding to the relaxing atmosphere. Could go on but you must get the idea we will be back. Wines are fabulous and the few top wineries we visited all told us they loved Tomfoolery’s wines Cheers

Nestled right above Barossa valley. Beautiful view from the pool area. Close to all wineries. 3 min to town for great restaurants wine tasting grocery store. Garage parking your own entrance, huge LR kitchen fully stocked. FP and wood if cold. Comfy king bed. Nice linens and pillows too the host provides a lot of food Eggs, bacon,sausage. The best sourdough bread and jams. Fruits yogurt granolas milk and juice. Espresso machine and milk frother And yes a nice bottle of red 🍷 We loved it there !! Lazy morning then off to wine tasting!!

Nicely furnished 2 bedroom apartment within walking distance to cafes and shops in Angaston. The king size bed was very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped for cooking with a coffee machine and coffee supplied too. Nice, quiet position with parking at the rear of the property. We stayed in the Chardonnay suite which is upstairs.

Loved all the historical furnishings and the layout of the cottage. Plenty of supplies. Location was in a nice quiet area of the Barossa. John the owner was very easy to deal with.

Beautiful spacious house in an excellent location. The staff are very helpful and our host on arrival (Roger) was an excellent help.

Modern, spacious, clean and comfortable beds. Pantry staples was well stocked. Check in and check out process was a breeze. Would recommend and stay again.

Facilities and location couldn't have been better. Very welcoming. Very quiet neighborhood. Good bed. Great water pressure. Plenty of space. Kitchenette nicely set up with tea/coffee. Didn't have time to enjoy the pool - but it looked lovely.

This property more than exceeded our expectations. It was a fabulous cottage with lots of character which had us saying "wow" the moment we walked through the door. It was immaculately clean, which is no mean feat given the decor, and lots of provisions to ensure that you could have breakfast, as well as a welcome bottle of wine. The little notes everywhere to give you hints on how things work or where to find things was great. We also loved having a fireplace and we lit the fire both nights, especially since it was cold at night. Loved the place.

The location was gorgeous, so quiet but right in the heart of the Barossa and with farm animals and gardens right outside. The produce provided was delicious and high quality. The kitchen and laundry had everything you could possibly want. We enjoyed the fire and jet bath. I really liked the curtains.

The house was great for our stay! We had two kids with us, there was a basket of toys which was great. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit very much.

Grate location , super helpful host, simple access

Washington Cottage was the perfect cosy and comfortable retreat for our group of female friends on our most recent hiking trip. The kitchen and dining was so well equipped we ate in every night! The bedrooms are huge and very comfy. There's even a cute garden and lovely undercover outdoor area with chiminea and pizza oven (though we didn't use these). The bonus bottle of red wine on arrival was welcome too.
