Self-Catering Accommodations in Houffalize

I liked the place, in a small village, with wonderful nature around and one can easily hike to Achouffe in less than half an hour (5 min by car). The owners are very nice young couple, creating a relaxed atmosphere in the house. Breakfast was very good, and so was the room, too. They also have an infrared sauna in the house. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Great location just off the main road through Houffalize. Very close to a grocery (40 meters) and we were able to park in the lot there, and in the few public spots across the street from the apartment. Lovely place with comfortable beds and lots of room. You have to go up a few stairs to get in, then at least one flight to get to the main floor where the kitchen, bathroom and first bedroom are located. The second bedroom and recreation room are one more flight up. I think maybe no one had stayed there in a while as there were some small webs in the corners and dust bunnies on the floors. Other than that the apartment was very clean. There is a full set of kitchen tools etc. so you could cook if you wanted. We had a late check in and it was super easy. The hosts were very responsive and considerate, and we could tell that they cared about us having a great experience in their home and in their region of Belgium. It was a ten minute drive to La Chouffe:) where we went in a tour and had delicious beer. We did a quick trip to Luxembourg to see an art exhibition, and we also had a lovely dinner at The Bandit. Thanks so much!!!

Good location for our needs and interests. Apartment was clean and cozy. Wood pellet heater is very efficient. Good Wifi. Nice kitchen area. There is occasional traffic on the road right outside the apartment but we didn't find it to be a problem. The road noise didn't bother us but the neighbor's music (mentioned below) did.

The heater with fire was nice!

The unit was very well appointed, in fact the kitchen had many thoughtful things such as well appointed cooking utensiles and a carraf of milk for tea or what not already in the fridge. The owners are so incredibly sweet and they'll try to accomodate your schedule. We were delayed getting out of Paris and did not arrive until late evening. No worries, they stayed up late to greet us and set us up for success. Could not have been better!

It is in a beautiful village in Belgium.

The accommodation offered items for post use purchase, which we did not need at the time but were pleased to see available. It was not a rental that offered meals - this is not what we needed anyway.

The property is set in a beautiful and scenic area near Bastogne, with easy access to local attractions and walking trails. The house itself is quaint, charming, and full of authentic character, which made for an overall enjoyable stay.

Beautiful location, great facilities, welcoming host, very spacious and clean. Hot tub works and is a great addition.

The cabin is very cozy and the bathtub is great! It is nestled in the woods, so it was quite damp on the deck and we weren't able to use it. But the cabin, although small and minimally equipped, was wonderful. The catered food we ordered was also excellent, as was the staff. It is a very lovely experience to stay here!

Isabelle is a fantastic host! She is so sweet and speaks very good English. She met us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the house. The house has a good size fridge and a well equipped kitchen.

Amazingly quiet for being in town. Balcony overlooking the river was peaceful. Each bedroom was ensuite. Kitchen was large enough to handle five adults cooking and eating.
