The apartment was very spacious, warm, quiet, comfortable and extremely well organised to meet all our needs for sleeping and catering. It is very well maintained and clean with lots of little extras to make our stay enjoyable. Great location near the famous statues bridge, easy walking into the old town.

The apartment is well located, across the street from the Marienberg Fortress (great views, a few scenic trails) on one side, and across the street from the Alte Mainbrücke on the other. There is a lock on the river, right at the bridge, and if a ship comes through you’ve got a bird’s-eye view of the whole process..very interesting. Across the bridge is the Altstadt and all it offers. There is a restaurant at the end of the bridge that serves giant glasses of wine through a window to the pedestrians for 6€. In the apt. the bed was comfortable, and there was a good small kitchen (we used the fridge only). The bathroom was clean and everything worked well. The hosts were quickly responsive to our questions, and very helpful, as well—one of the owners drove us to the train station very early one rainy morning, and that was greatly appreciated and saved us a lot of stress. Thank you!! We really liked staying here! Highly recommended for a stay in Wurzburg.
