Great Location, close to the train station, good place to branch out up to Barga and other locations. House was clean and provided everything we needed. I will definitely return.

Lovely welcome and lovely area. House, gardens and pool excellent. Really happy here. Roads a bit tight, however I had no issue in big hire car.

Everything hosts where lovely and very welcoming the property is ideally located next to the train station perfect for day trips to LUCCA or Pisa the apparent was immaculate and everything we needed.

Great location and very well equipped

The property is beautiful with stunning views, it feels secluded and peaceful. The interior design was some of the best I have seen in Italy, rustic but comfortable. The hosts were so hospitable and welcoming, I would really recommend!

Beautiful location and very helpful host, helping us carry a large suitcase up the steps. Plenty of fuel for the log fire which was extremly easy to light and was wonderful in the evenings. Fabulous drinking water on tap.

The apartment was great, spacious, clean, with quality furniture and some personal items which made it feel homely. Riccardo is a very welcoming and generous host, very ready to help with information , whether about trains or restaurants, or the history of the area, it seems as if he really wants his guests to enjoy staying in Barga and will make an effort to ensure that we do. He made our stay there very special. Thank you Riccardo.

Good communication with instructions on how to get there. When we arrived, we were met by the host who had lit a lovely fire in the kitchen. There was stocked larder cupboards which were were able to use which was great as we didn’t need to go out again.

Beautiful property and a very friendly owner. We would love to return one day.

Everything, the view, the farm house, the local area … simply outstanding

House finished with high quality materials. Surrounded by beautiful nature with a view of the Apuan Alps, including Pania della Croce. The view from the small window of one of the bathrooms resembles Van Gogh's painting "Cypresses". We baked 9 delicious pizzas in a traditional stone pizza oven located next to the house. Many thanks to the host, who showed us places where you can swim and what to visit in the area.

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful location. 20 minute walk into Barga centre. an amazing pool with an amazing outlook. The air-conditioning was essential in the heat!

Villa was spacious, spotless and very comfortable. Are very quiet. Just lovely.

A fabulous stay at Villa Pavone. We were well looked after by the host who had great local knowledge. The views from the Villa were amazing. Loved having the pool… could totally relax. A gorgeous village with lots of history away from all the tourists.

I was with my youngest son, 2 weeks' holiday at Fillipe's house. Fillipe is a friendly shy man, you can always message or call him if you need anything. He has a nice house, it has a kitchen with dining area. 2 living rooms, 2 bedrooms and a nice bathroom. With google maps you can easily find the house. Places like Lucca, Pisa Florence is easily accessible. If you want to go to the beach, go to Marina de Pisa and park the car near Grand hotel Golf Tirrenia. Groceries: Conad, Penny, Carefour (Lucca), Eurospin. Restaurants: Flamingo (next door), Bella e Pronta, Zi Meo, Kisoro Sushi, Cliff restaurant. So plenty of everything around. Absolutely perfect. Great location close to Lucca and Pisa. Nice room with everything you need. And extra nice lady, who is running this small family bussiness. Definitely want to visit this place next time in Italy!
