Our host Adele was very helpful and told us a lot about the local sights, history, etc. A wonderful breakfast. Location is very close to town centre.

I had an issue with my car in a remote location in the mountains, the hotel staff arranged a taxi and auto mechanic to fix my very exotic vintage vehicle.. Incredible effort on their part, much appreciated from our side!

We stayed at Le Sette Fontane for 8 nights and had a wonderful time. Our hosts, Antonella and Egisto, were incredibly warm and welcoming, and they had a huge impact on how much we enjoyed our stay. We were treated like friends rather than guests. The pool and gardens were immaculate, peaceful and beautifully kept, with lovely fruit trees around the property. Freshly picked plums were regularly left outside our room, which was such a thoughtful touch. Antonella also left some home made nut cake for us, made from the hazelnuts growing in the garden. Our room and ensuite were spacious, spotless and very comfortable. The location was also excellent, with the train station just a 2-minute walk away with direct trains to Lucca, making it very easy to explore the area. We would happily stay again and highly recommend it.

Great Location, close to the train station, good place to branch out up to Barga and other locations. House was clean and provided everything we needed. I will definitely return.

We loved everything about Villa Moorings. The property itself can only be described as being grand. It is a trip down memory lane and a very enjoyable one at that. The staff are ALL just so welcoming. They make you feel like you’re at home. The feeling is of warmth, friendship and where nothing is too much to ask. Just amazing! We will be back without a doubt.

Great access from little garden with private parking. So easy to take yor bags in… Also the owner is a nice person with lovely dog.

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful location. 20 minute walk into Barga centre. an amazing pool with an amazing outlook. The air-conditioning was essential in the heat!

Lovely welcome and lovely area. House, gardens and pool excellent. Really happy here. Roads a bit tight, however I had no issue in big hire car.

Very large and spacious apartment. Well situated. Very neat and modern. Well equipped with all that you could possibly need. Lovely host with excellent communication. Easy check in and check out. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming touches - beer, wine & fruits. Plenty of local places to eat - gorgeous little restaurant right next door. It was quite hot while we were in Barga but the apartment was a very cool comfortable temperature. We were very happy with our stay in Barga and would highly recommend Casa Carlo.

House finished with high quality materials. Surrounded by beautiful nature with a view of the Apuan Alps, including Pania della Croce. The view from the small window of one of the bathrooms resembles Van Gogh's painting "Cypresses". We baked 9 delicious pizzas in a traditional stone pizza oven located next to the house. Many thanks to the host, who showed us places where you can swim and what to visit in the area.

The apartment was great, spacious, clean, with quality furniture and some personal items which made it feel homely. Riccardo is a very welcoming and generous host, very ready to help with information , whether about trains or restaurants, or the history of the area, it seems as if he really wants his guests to enjoy staying in Barga and will make an effort to ensure that we do. He made our stay there very special. Thank you Riccardo.

Absolutely perfect. Great location close to Lucca and Pisa. Nice room with everything you need. And extra nice lady, who is running this small family bussiness. Definitely want to visit this place next time in Italy!
