The place is clean, quiet, located in a camping area with easy access to the forest and nature — perfect for a relaxing break from the city and everyday life. We also rented a sauna and a hot tub for an extra fee, which made the stay even more enjoyable. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay: a grill for barbecue, dishes and utensils, nice garden furniture for spending time outside, and comfortable beds for all four guests. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would be happy to come back again.

We spent the last couple of nights of the year here to get away from the crowds and relax, after a few days visiting the country. The host was precise and responsive with messaging and when we arrived we found the house already warmed up, with the fireplace going, the christmas lights on and the music going. She even left us a complementary bottle of wine to celebrate the nye! The host is very friendly, lives nearby and puts the same amount of care and attention in her guests as much as in the place they built, which is beyond what it is pictured: the house is located in a quiet spot at the edge of the woods, and it is equipped with everything you can possibly need (from the bathroom, to the kitchen, to the tv area, the wifi etc). It feels like a welcoming home rather than a temporary rental: squeaky cleaning, with more than enough space to rest, cook, chill on the couch or enjoy the hot tub. The upstairs bed might seem less appealing, but the stairs are really sturdy and upstairs there's much more space to move around than it seems: the bed was very comfy and there's a lovely window from which you can see the woods and the sky when you go to sleep or wake up. If you are not a light lover, you can black out all the windows with the blinds (but in winter it was not so bright and we loved the view). The directions were perfectly clear and we reached the place by car with no problems. Riga is a quick drive away from there, there's a big supermarket in the area for groceries and the beautiful white dune in Saulkrasti is also quite close, for a nice walk along the coast. From the host to the house it is hard and rare these days to find this much quality and care, even in highly star-rated chain hotels: it is a perfect little peaceful corner, whether you want to rest or visit around, and we couldn't recommend it more (for sure it has set the bar significantly higher for any future house in other places where we will stay).

Comfortable, clean, modern and beautiful house with friendly and super helpful owner. Location is great, the heating worked very well in February. We liked that there was no smoke from houses around, that can be a problem in Carnikava. We stayed for a week, it was very pleasant holidays.

Exellent price and quality ratio. Nice and clean apartment in renovated soviet multiflat house, comfortable bed , no noise..., everything is fine in general and its easy to go to Riga by train if the weather is bad..

This place is truly magical, it exceeded all our expectations, I can highly recommend it! I'd especially like to mention the hosts, they're amazing people, and everything about this place is done with so much love. We swam in this beautiful lake, played badminton, basketball, and volleyball, grilled meat and fish, took a hot tub bath, and enjoyed nature. Amazing! 10/10

Quiet place, very clean. Good place for dog owners. Next to a river, one kilometer to forest then one more to the sea. Owner very helpful.

This is probably the 30th+ accommodation booked through booking.com this year. And I would definitely give a 11 out of 10, if I could. I wanted to have a quiet place in nature for a single-stay workation and exactly got that. It's like a premium retreat place with high-tech internet. Full large, studio cottage for myself. Everything looked so new as if I were the first guest. Fully-glassed cottage front towards the woods and the river. Own barbecue grill right in front of the cottage veranda. Own private river beach. Water goes only to 1 meter depth. Birds singing all day. Wonderfully quiet, no city noise at all. If I drew away the curtains at night, I could see the full moon shining through the pine trees from my bed. The compound is located in a gated community, the territory additionally fenced off. No car or traffic noises. The host absolutely fabulous, friendly and open. Multi-lingual and multi-cultural. Great recommendations for restaurants, nature walks and sights in the vicinity. Hope to be back in September. Thumbs up!
