The Bear House was the perfect place to stay in Sigulda. It had everything we needed—and as a bonus: two ponies to see from our living room window! 😊 It's about 1.5 miles from downtown, but it’s a lovely walk there and back. You might even catch an unforgettable sunset along the way. Communication with the host was great. If we ever return to Sigulda, we’d definitely stay at the Bear House again.

The house was in a large yard well landscaped lodge, with a small patio outside the door and a separate seating area with more chairs and tables. It was less than 10 minutes' walk to some restaurants in town and very easy to navigate to other areas in Gauja National Park. Getting in and out was very easy after collecting the keys in the key box at the gate.

We enjoyed a few days in this spacious apartment. Everything seems quite new. The furnishings were nice and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is compact but functional. It was easy to find a parking space near the apartment. There was ample green space to walk with our dog and the location is walkable to restaurants and grocery stores. Recommended!
