Amazing location and good for solo travelers to make friends as they organize events. The hostal has a what's app group to make information very easy to access .

Access to the lagoon. The staff and also the food and drinks were good.

Superb location, quit and cozy. Access is easy and far enough from the street noise. Facility is new and the accommodation is in individual cabanas with small kitchen and small fridge.

The hotel is pretty and really well taken care of. Also perfectly situated close to the beach and town center. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Really pleasant stay there.

I’m a solo traveler from Taiwan. This place is amazing. If you like a quiet and calm atmosphere. Everything is clean. I love the big window in the room. It’s near to the lagoon. They have great service! I was sick but they took care of me so much! I supposed to stay for only 2nights but I extended to 4nights. I love it 😍

Casa Mexico Linda was amazing. It’s a new hostel and you can really feel the care behind it. The staff help with all recommendations and tours. I booked a boat tour plus sunset and sunrise paddle sessions and everything was excellent. It’s clean, quiet but very sociable, with well-designed dorms and thick curtains. Very safe, beautifully designed, with cute dogs and cats. If you are a solo traveler and not into party hostels, I highly recommend it. Special shout-out to the staff. they welcome you like family.

The location is amazing! Being on the edge of the lagoon, being able to watch the sunrise and sunset from the private pier is so great 🌅 The staff are attentive and the 2 dogs are very sweet and friendly - it’s pet-friendly which is great as we take our dog everywhere 🐕

The place we stayed was very clean and opened up to a beautiful garden. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Our stay coincided with the Christmas season, and the property organized special events, inviting all guests to a Christmas dinner. The night was filled with delicious food and drinks, and we all had an incredibly enjoyable evening. Many thanks to Daisy and her family for their hospitality. If you're planning to visit Bacalar, I highly recommend staying at this wonderful place!

Beautiful lagoon front property with lots of amenities, the kayaks were very convenient, the host was very nice and helpful with fast communication and the multiple balconies were perfect spots for pictures.

The view! The water! It is such a nice place, we where 2 families with kids and they had the best time! The only regret we had was not staying longer.

Easy and clear communication with the host. Main door is with a code, individual apartment is via a lock box. Everything was communicated clearly and in time. The house corresponds well with the pictures and is very spacy. The (whirl)pool is a nice addition, like the small garden (even though you might not like the mosquitos). Very nice to have a parking in front of the house.

The apartment was new and well furnished. there was a kitchen with everything. the location was close to a quit lagoon. The bed was extra large and there was a lot of space.

Really quiet, tucked away location but walking distance to the lagoon and main square. Very comfortable and a great kitchen!!! Only four rooms, so never busy in the kitchen. The owners kindly booked us a taxi for 5.20am which was exactly on time. Recommend staying here for a great price.

Clean, good mattress, hot water, you can use the fridge and kitchen if you want The host Zayed is super nice, gave good tips on where to eat & swim I would definitely go back

The whole house is very beautiful, the bed is comfortable as well as the sofa. The garden was perfect for relaxing! The bathroom was new and had good water pressure and hot water. Internet worked well. There was a problem with the water upon my arrival and the owner was very responsive and solved the problem inmediately. Location is perfect, close to two entrance points to the lagoon that are public and cheap (20 and 10 pesos).

We liked everything. It was great to have others to talk to and the quiet location on the lagoon front was perfect.

All the equipment is very nice and clean. The WiFi was working well, the beds were comfortable, there was a small fan on each bed. All the bathrooms were super clean and the outside kitchen was pleasant to use. Most of the common areas are outside, so it has a very nice vibe. The staff was very helpful too. Knowing that it's one of the cheapest option in Bacalar this is definitely worth going.
