Breakfast was great,better than expeted and plenty,the service was perfect, Casa Caribe has bad reviews,ignore it is a hidden gem,sure its a little broken but lovely staff and it has great character would recommend come in past front door to beautiful gardens,fresh clean pool,great views abd a good vibe. Visit market 28 for souvenir and fun, The mantra lounge 15 mins walk superb food with extras and great owners Lacey and Husband,upstairs seating good music and right on the beach,next to pirate statue...

Automonus check in worked perfectly

I have stayed in this hotel in 2007, when I was 5 years old. I have found my mom's comment from 2007 in the reception guest book, saying that the hotel, breakfast etc was perfect. I can confirm that it didn't change ! Even though the hotel is more than 25 years old, it is still in perfect condition, very clean (room, garden, pool). The breakfast is AMAZING, you have many options :) And the stuff is also very kind and helpful !!

We love everything here. It’s more like service apartment, instead of hotel. However, you get everything you need and the staff replied the questions efficiently and friendly, even better than big hotel. The room is exactly like the photos. Nothing went wrong.

The property was very clean, and when we had trouble finding the building, Ms. Irini noticed us and kindly came over to help. She accompanied us all the way to our room. Since there was no elevator, she arranged a room for us on the ground floor. She was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room had everything we needed, and we were very satisfied with our stay. We would definitely recommend this place!

I had stayed two years ago at this hotel. As I was glad of my stay, I returned again. Everything has gone well as before.

The place gives a feeling like you are staying in an art gallery or a museum. An unmatched experience.

Francisco and his wife were very kind! They helped us when needed and gave us lots of tips during our stay in Mexico. Their place is very kid-friendly!

Great stay. We had two days on arrival and two days just before we returned to Canada. We came back the second time because of the awesome experiences the first time. Great healthy homemade breakfast. Clean and friendly atmosphere. So satisfied with all aspects. Not one negative thing to say. Alex gave us solid travel advice and saved us a lot of money and grief. Thank you Alex. See you again next time we pass through.

Waking up and going to the bed with this view was breathtaking. We would leave with a late plane and it was possible to stay until 7pm.

Good price for nice room, can stay with a pet

Spent 10 days at Hotel Thelmar, this is the best deal you can get in Cancun for getting a clean and quiet ground-floor room with a big bathroom, full kitchen, good wifi, good A/C in the bedroom, in a well-maintained building in a quiet area yet just a few minutes walk to countless restaurants, stores, bank and grocery store, name it you don't need a car. The room didn't have a t.v, I asked if I could get one before my stay and when I arrived, there was a t.v in my room. Ask to get room no 1 or 2. I will be coming back.

We loved the number of pools and variety onsite meaning we didn’t need to leave the site to explore.

Everything was fantastic! Special shout out to "Angel" in the restaurant with thanks for being so kind & attentive to us, shame we didn't get to say goodbye, also to the rest of the staff in the restaurant & the activies centre for the Tennis equipment. Alfonso sorted out car hire for us with much ease & Valencia from guest services were very helpful indeed. The pools & swim up bar guys were very friendly with great service, Guacamole Nachos & Pina Coladas were the best as was the buffet, everything was very tasty indeed with a good decent variety everyday & fresh fruit delicious. The Apartment was beautiful, well equipped & very comfortable with stunning views of sunrise on the beachfront & the use of the partner hotel was nice to visit, with the use of kayaks & snorkels were fun. When the ocean is rough with powerful waves they put the Red Flags up to warn you, we had good fun times in the water without any trouble but you can feel how strong it really is. Thank you all so very much for our wonderful stay!

Apartment in hotel area, right on the beach. The view was amazing. We could use pool, gym, beach beds, got beach towels. If you like you can pay extra for breakfast or all inclusive. Beach is nice, sea beautiful, there were often red flags but usually also yellow, we liked waves. Communication with the owner was great, they solve any problem.

The perfect place on the beach!!!! You can drink Margaritas all day and have the Wi-Fi on the beach! I love it!

Our apartment was large and bright and right by the sea. It was also great to have kitchen facilities.

Location, room and staff were all great

We loved everything about this hotel. The suites are very comfortable for a family of five, and the beds are huge! The level of cleanliness was a pleasant surprise - it was noticeable that even the hard-to-reach corners received attention, even outside the suite. The food was fresh and tasty. The selection may not be the biggest, but there are plenty of options to keep the dining experience interesting - every night the main restaurant hosts themed evenings. We also saw some comments about the sea. Yes, the hotel beach has a lot of seagrass if you go deeper than knee level, but this is fully compensated by the fact that you can simply go to the Royal Sands Hotel (part of the same hotel group) and enjoy all the benefits there too, including an amazing turquoise sea. For us, it was a dream vacation. 10/10.

I was so happy to have a balcony cause as a solo traveller I usually get the worst room and no balcony although I pay the same or more money as a couple. I’ll never forget the view from the hammock.

The Host, Mr. Corrado, is a very nice gentleman who will give you immediatly a feeling of familiar comfort. He will answer your question as good as possible and is always reachable if you need something. He is a well English-, Italian- and Spanish-Speaker. The Apartment was one of our Highlights and we enjoyed the view of the see, what is the first thing you will see as soon as you wake up. We planned also some trips to some islands and he was so nice for driving us to the ferry. Very happy with all and everything. There will for sure be a next time in Cancun and we will come back to Mr. Corrado for sure :)
