It was one of the best apartments I have stayed in anywhere in the world. All the necessary amenities were available in the apartment. The location was excellent—just a 3 to 4-minute walk to the Bekhuskaien bus stop, which made it very easy to reach the Stavanger bus station or travel anywhere around the city. On the back street, we also found plenty of food options. I highly recommend this apartment as it is close to all major attractions in Stavanger, such as Fiskepirterminalen (Ferry Terminal), Geoparken, the Norwegian Petroleum Museum, Fargegaten, and Byparken.

Everything you needed for a lovely stay was here. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the living room had a comfy couch and the kitchen was fully equipped. We did not use the washing machine but if it had had a wash/dry cycle it would be perfect. We did not have the time to let it air dry. It was an excellent location for getting downtown.

We loved our stay at Eldhuset. The hosts, Rune & Johanna, were delightful! They gave us good recommendations, & we did the tasty breakfast basket as well (jam, bread, assorted meats, cheese, hard boiled eggs, butter, yogurt, OJ, milk etc). The cottage is absolutely adorable, the bed comfy, and the TV easy to use. The kitchen area has a toaster, coffee machine, and hot water heater. The leather couch is super comfy too. We used the bus to get to/from Stavanger - quite easy; Rune & Johanna have a parking spot though for those bringing a car. Easy check in coordination with the hosts!
