Our sociable host Agnieszka spoke English like it was her mother tongue. I have stayed in all kinds of hotels and bed and breakfast accommodations and want to say that the breakfast we ate here was outstanding. We stayed four nights, and every morning there was a spread of new and delicious offerings, both sweet and savory. We also came here in late October and want to point out that the apartment was not drafty or cold. Here we slept well. The kids had the opportunity to pick apples and feed them to the super soft bunnies. There are interesting species of chickens, ducks and geese too. From here it was easy to make day trips to Biskupin, Gniezno and Żnin. The roads are in great condition. There was literature in the apartment pointing out geological highlights of the Pałuki region. (I can also recommend a number of wooden churches worth visiting.) Agnieszka offers to guide guests through a quality craft project, and has one available for every age and ability.
Very quiet location, but very importantly, the thick walls ensured it stayed cool inside despite the plus 30 degree temperatures outside. The apartment was very spacious which allowed us to keep our expensive bicycles secured inside. Tea and coffee was provided and because of a more extensive corner store nearby, we were able to purchase ready meals and heat these up in the microwave. There was no need to venture out by bicycle to a far off restaurant.
