Exceeded expectations in every way. The house was very cute, bright, wonderful outdoor space and orientation, we enjoyed views from everywhere. The grounds were beautiful and really incredible, terraced seating areas, the fabulously warm pool! And Maria was magic - she was kind, welcoming and went above and beyond. We loved it and look forward to coming back. An amazing value too for such a lovely experience.

Everything! When the blue door opens we were overwhelmed with the size, clean, comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms are very nice. Look no further and stay at Casa do Rio. Exceptional! The history is very nice and made us feel right at home.

The hosts were wonderful! The property is beautiful and peaceful. Right on the river. 10/10!

This is a lovely oasis. Essentially a small gated community of five beautiful little stone houses in a well designed garden setting high in the hills with nice views and a swimming pool. The houses are beautifully constructed and decorated with all modern conveniences and features for a comfortable stay. The location is a bit remote which was enjoyable for us and it only takes about 15 minutes to drive down to central Ponte de Lima. A magical experience!

Outdoor was wonderful, jacuzzi was also great, the pool was nice but we didn’t use it much. Also host was very nice & responsive 🙏

Beautiful modern property located amongst gorgeous historic farms, fields, wineries, and buildings. Such a special place. Privacy when you want it, and quick access to restaurants, cafes, and the spectacular Ponte de Lima when you want to stretch a bit. We absolutely love this place!

Very clean and so close to everything

The architecture and grounds were beautiful! The house is equipped w/ absolutely everything you need. The host was great. I don’t easily give you 5 stars - this one is 6!

The house is spacious and very comfortable. The property has a beautiful garden with a variety of blooming plants and a stunning veiw of the Lima River valley. We enjoyed daily outings of hiking and exploring nearby Ponte De Lima. We also cooked many memorable meals in the well equiped kitchen.

We liked the location, the size of the rooms, and that everything was very clean. We loved the basket with breakfast items on our first day and fresh bread everyday; it was a wonderful surprise. Rosa was very friendly.

Clean comfortable beautiful views

We had a truly wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home — the space was warm, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. The views of the surrounding countryside were absolutely stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. It was the perfect spot to relax and disconnect. The hosts were exceptional — incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. Their hospitality made the experience even more special.
