Self-Catering Accommodations in Vik

We liked the cozy tiny house. The bedroom has curtains on 2 walls which makes it even comfier. It's very quiet and we just wanted a bed for the night. There's a little kitchen and a shower and even a washing machine.

Superbly well appointed studio with loft and terrace. Modern and very clean. Kitchen was the most well equipped we have encountered on our trip.

The folks were so kind, they offered other locations for me to go that I hadn’t considered, they have a friendly dog, they have a porch to sit out on, and the accommodations were amazing for such a low price.

We loved this place! It is located on a beautiful organic farm located near a lovely nature reserve and not far from Stockholm's main airport. The couple who run the farm are incredibly friendly and nice, and the house was absolutely gorgeous and full of fascinating history! Staying here gave us a wonderful taste of Sweden country life, and at the same time we were just a few kilometers from town where we could have our pick of restaurants. A bonus for us as birdwatchers was learning how the couple who live here have worked with university professors on wildlife conservation projects -- a great service to nature!

Good value for money. Needed a place for my parents to stay close to my apartment. 2 bus goes directly into the city center. Also walkable to center in 15-20 min. Room was warm and clean, all necessary facilities.

Quintessential Swedish, very nice, helpful hosts. As I had read in other reviews, the housekeeping was wanting, but it’s a wonderful space, in a rural, agricultural area.

I’ve been cycling through Sweden for quite some time as part of my world bicycle journey, and I can confidently say this is one of the best places I’ve stayed in the country! Don’t let the location or the photos on the booking website discourage you. They can be a little misleading and don’t do this wonderful property justice. Trust me, go ahead and book it. You won’t be disappointed! The rooms are modern, beautifully maintained, and sparkling clean. The beds are large and incredibly comfortable, and everything feels fresh and new. One of the biggest highlights is the fantastic kitchenette! It has everything you could possibly need: a stove, oven, coffee maker, electric kettle, and a complete selection of clean pots, pans, plates, cutlery, and cooking utensils. Everything is spotless and thoughtfully provided. The room also has a huge balcony, which is another wonderful bonus! A special recommendation for cyclists and bikepackers: If you’re cycling through Uppsala and need accommodation, this is the place to stay! The building has a spacious elevator, making it incredibly easy to roll your bicycle upstairs. Even better, bicycles are allowed inside the rooms, and the enormous balcony provides additional space for your bike. For someone traveling with a fully loaded touring bicycle, this convenience is absolutely priceless! The lady at reception was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and had a wonderful, positive attitude. She made the experience even better. Considering the comfort, cleanliness, amenities, bicycle-friendly facilities, and overall quality, this property offers outstanding value for money. Overall, a fantastic experience from beginning to end. A solid 10 out of 10! I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Uppsala, especially fellow cyclists and bikepackers. Don’t hesitate to book!
