Self-Catering Accommodations in Wolseley

Good, friendly and helpful communication from the property, the scenic and tranquil location right next to the river, the view from the stoep, the outside barbeque area (with good lighting) and the fact that our friends could bring their two dogs. All the essentials were available (including electric blankets) and we received two large complimentary butternut pumpkins that were produced on the farm as well as two bags of firewood. There was an electricity outage during the one day caused by a fault in the grid and we were kept informed by the property until the electricity came back on. There was a single plate gas stove available to use during the electricity outage and we prepared brunch on the outside barbeque.

The property is spectacular! It is very modern and is tastefully furnished, including all the mod-cons you need for a short stay - including a dishwasher! The endless supply of wood was a welcome feature in the chilly Witzenberg evenings and early mornings. The owners paid attention to detail, even down to providing hot water bottles. Being part of a game farm, seeing the buck and the zebra was another feature that made our weekend even more memorable. PS the bottle of wine that was provided on our arrival was a lovely, thank you.

An excellent location with magnificent views. Fantastic decor which felt very warm and inviting.

Stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains! The cottage had everything we needed and more - very well equipped kitchen, plus a few extras like a battery light to get through the inevitable loadshedding. Comfy bed, a lovely balcony, spacious lounge area, and being surrounded by nature.

Great views at the mountains, nice pool right near the dam, which is stocked with a lot of bass which we enjoyed fishing!

The sprawling green lawns, the view and the hot tub!

Stunning location and view! Small personal touches by our host - fresh flowers, rusks and a bottle of wine to welcome us. Beautiful quaint cottage, equipped with everything you need and in immaculate condition.

Secluded, private, totally immersed in Nature. Just loved everything about it. The hot-tub and braai areas were a treat. Will come back for sure!

Mel is an exceptional host, providing detailed directions, instructions for checking in, as well as weather details for the area during our stay. The most beautiful chalet in a stunning private nature reserve, with views to die for. Early morning sunrise and evening sunsets on the deck were spectacular. The chalet kitchen is very well equipped and extra bedding made for cosy evenings. An overall wonderful location!

The surroundings were beautiful and it was extremely peaceful. The host was friendly and helpful. The cottage had everything we needed. There is a nice braai area with an outside bench. The beds were comfortable.

Really stunning, secluded location! Everything has been thought of and very well put together!

This was such a beautiful zen space, an escape into a wonderland. Glamping at its finest. We had challenging weather, the icy wind howled…showering was a struggle…but we were able to snuggle in the geodome with electric blankets and great books; bit like being in an igloo I imagine, only warmer. Remember, this is glamping so don’t expect a hotel…rather it’s a magical and unique experience I want to return to again and again…

Incredible new property with stunning views and luxurious amenities. The welcome baskets, honesty bar, and activities were all outstanding and made for a very memorable stay. Communication was great throughout and the check-in system was seamless. Highly recommend for a unique and comfortable getaway close to Cape Town.

Everything is exceptional. Very sought after property and location. Pods are clean with everything you need. Very cosy and perfect for a getaway.

It is a picturesque place - the accommodation and location make it very special. Loved waking up and enjoying mountain views from every corner of the Breedekloof Kajuit. Comfortable accommodation with everything that you would possibly need. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back without a doubt!
