The views of the room were fantastic. The location was great, with the beach only a 5 minute walk away. It is also near the heart of broadbeach where one can find food and supermarkets. The unit was well-furnished, and well-maintained. Staff were very much accommodating.

Offering an outdoor pool and a fitness centre, Athena Studio Units is located in Roma. Free WiFi and free parking are available. Probably one of the best motels we have stayed in. Could not fault it at all.

Whitsunday Sands Resort is uniquely located on its own private peninsula, by the turquoise waters of the Great Barrier Reef. It offers all guests private access to 2 separate, magnificent beaches. An outstanding place to stay sandwiched between two attractive beaches on the outskirts of Bowen. Our upstairs unit was spacious and clean and had fabulous views from the valcony out over the well kept grounds to the ocean. We self catered, but the motel has a bar and there is a restaurant down by one of the beaches which is open on certain days of the week. I understand there is also a Thai restaurant nearby which opens at weekends. We enjoyed the circular walk up to the radar station lookout and clambering over the rocks to a couple more secuded coves. There is also a swimming pool sensibly situated to the side of the building we were in. Reception was friendly and efficient, and we appreciated the on site laundry.

Debbie's Place is 150 meters from the Great Sandy National Park and 500 meters from Rainbow Beach. Debbie's is a great spot for a couple's getaway prior to or returning from your K'gari adventures. Near stores and places to eat or buy groceries. This is a beautiful, clean, quiet place to stay with amazing hosts.
