We loved the location as it was out of the bustle of town and being set right in the jungle is amazing. The rooms are beautiful with attention to detail such as providing some basic cooking needs such as oil and vinegar was appreciated. Javier and Sebastian are wonderful hosts.

I felt right at home at Mecca and 10/10 recommend to all. I stayed about a week and felt I had the perfect balance of peaceful time to myself lounging by the pool or petting the dogs in the common area and social time, chatting with the owner Kim and her family who were visiting and were kind enough to extend invites to share time with them. Outside of my time spent in Mecca, I also liked that there were bikes I could take to explore and we were close to a restaurant with a nice beach view, live music and a bar. Plus, Kim gave recommendations of where to eat, what to do in the area and how to get around. Plus since I overlapped with Thanksgiving, I got to be a part of a black expat Friendsgiving and family festivities which was very nice as a solo traveler.

Would have stayed here longer had i booked it first. It is perfect for families. The pool is Incredible and the cabin is clean and Incredible too. Value for what you pay is fantastic.

It’s a cozy and relaxing place close to the beach and to the town centre. Chiara and Ray keep it clean and well maintained and they are always happy to help you and recommend places to visit or to dine in :)

This place is a hidden gem! We totally loved the natural environment, in the middle of the jungle. It’s so secluded and nice. The owner tries her best really well and she’s the most friendly host you will meet. The has a spectaculair eye for detail. There are plants, animals, sounds of the jungle: everything you would expect given the pretty location, we loved it and would recommend!

Alto Luciérnaga er með fjallaútsýni og býður upp á gistingu með garði og svölum, í um 41 km fjarlægð frá Universidad EARTH. Great location. Beautiful space. Good Internet!

Dragonfly Beachfront Villas-Adult Only er staðsett í Punta Uva, 90 metra frá Punta Uva-ströndinni, og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garð og verönd. Beautiful, tranquil, relaxing hotel surrounded by forestry and backing onto a wonderful beach. We had an amazing stay at the Dragonfly. we loved the calm space, watching birds and animals pass by, spending time on the beach. The villa was smallish but had everything we needed and was comfortable. Shops and local attractions were all no more than 15 minutes away. Anya the manageress was always on hand to help. Looking forward to returning

Rodrigo is a wonderful host!! He met us at the boat dock and walked us to the property, again for a boat tour we had booked, and again when we left. We had bad internet advice and thought there was an ATM in town, so we were unable to pay in cash as he had requested up front. However he accepted our payment by an alternate method (Tilopay) which we appreciated. The property is full of beautiful tropical plants and is very quiet since it’s at the end of the town’s developed area and is right on the boundary of the National Park. We enjoyed watching hummingbirds and spider monkeys from the front porch, and could hear Black and White owls at night. We had wonderful views of Great Green Macaws, Keel-billed Toucans, and two-toed sloths in the town. From the casa you are still handy to restaurants and supermercados and fruterías. The kitchen is equipped for cooking meals, and Rodrigo provides good suggestions if you want to eat out. Don’t miss the Sea Turtle Conservancy at the other end of town! Even if it’s not turtle laying or hatching season, the video and displays are excellent. We really enjoyed a guided canoe tour for the two of us with guide Kendall.

Cahuita Apartment by Angie er staðsett í Cahuita, 500 metra frá Blanca og í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Negra. Gististaðurinn býður upp á útsýni yfir kyrrláta götu. The accommodation was spotless, super clean. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. Communication with the host was fast and very professional. The location is very good. Not far away from the city center and the national park. The street where it is located is super quiet.

Apartamentos Playa Negra er staðsett í Puerto Viejo, 300 metra frá Negra-ströndinni og 5,5 km frá Jaguar Rescue Center. Boðið er upp á garð og garðútsýni. Spacious, comfortable, clean, new. Great kitchen.
