Distillery Apartments offers accommodation within 200 metres of the centre of Lüneburg, with free WiFi, and a kitchen with an oven, a microwave and a fridge. I booked at short notice because I had two spare days and someone had recommended a visit to Lüneburg. I ended up wishing I could stay longer. The apartment is in one of the town's characteristic heritage listed buildings but inside, everything is modern and high quality. It's spacious, clean and beautiful, and had everything I needed. Access was easy using the code that was sent to my phone. I loved the view of the town square from my room. The location is perfect - an easy walk from the station, right next to St John's church, Christmas markets, grocery stores, restaurants, everything very close. The chocolate on the bed was a nice additional touch.

The location is in a very quiet residential area. It has its own parking space literally next to the entrance to the apartment, but its not very easy to find unless you know where it is, so when we arrived we spent some time finding it. It is also a bit narrow, but overall not a problem. The code to the lock was given in advance on the day of arrival, and everything worked smoothly. All the communication with the host was done through the messaging app, and he was very helpful with providing additional information (place to have dinner, breakfast, etc.).

Lots of things are available to cook as well as for cleaning, washing, etc. It was lovely to have a kitchen space as well as a large lounge room and comfy couch to relax on. The guesthouse was very cozy and well equipped for cooking. The location was nice for walking to the tank museum, grocery store and train/bus station. The owner was very nice and the animals were a plus. :-)
