We had a lovely stay at Villa Desert Rose. Ahmed and the staff were very helpful and ensured that everything—from our arrangements to transportation—was well coordinated and smoothly organized. The villa is new, clean, and beautifully maintained, and breakfast was delicious. While it is a bit farther from the main attractions, this added to a quiet and relaxing atmosphere away from the bustle of downtown. I highly recommend Villa Desert Rose when visiting Luxor.

This guest House served us very well. It was very clean and the kitchenette had everything we needed. The shower is excellent and there is AC in the bedroom with a powerful fan in the living room. The staff is excellent - the manager arranged a felucca ride and airport transfer for us at good prices. We felt very well taken care of. The restaurant across the street Sunset is amazing. Hassan, the owner arranged breakfast for us on our early check-out day. Strongly consider staying on the west side - it is quieter with village style elements, and has a lot fewer folks hassling you to hire them. But another major advantage is the evening view of the East side with sights like Luxor Temple. Great area. Such a lovely stay.

You can let your guards down, no one is going to hassle you. Far away from the luxor madness with beautiful views and outstanding breakfast and pretty much any meal! Walkable to the Memnon monuments and great base for exploring west bank (do yourself a favor and go to the valley of kings after 3pm). Bassam, our host took such a good care of us and show us the gardens and fields. Nothing was problem. Middle of winter but still filled the pool for our children to play. We stayed 3 days and it will be our best memory from Egypt roadtrip! Shukran to everybody

Temple House Luxor er vel staðsett í hverfinu í Vesturbakkanum í Luxor, 3,9 km frá Memnon-styttunni, 4,9 km frá Medinet Habu-búddahofinu og 5,3 km frá Deir el-Medina. Quiet location, close to ferry + easy access to sites on West Bank. Ali+Joe are wonderful hosts and NOTHING is too much trouble. Internet fast, water pressure in shower very strong and terrace is amazing with sun all day. Many small shops around for basics. Highly recommend.

Staff is very helpfull and accomodating. The place is clean, modern, silent and apartments are big and comfortable. You can book drivers to visit Luxor sites straight at the hotel for a decent price.

CASA LOKO Guest House er staðsett í Luxor, 3,2 km frá Medinet Habu-hofinu. Boðið er upp á útisundlaug, garð og útsýni yfir hljóðláta götu. One of the best hotels we stayed at during 2 months in Egypt! Mahmoud and Mohammad were the absolute best hosts-- they organised drivers, an early AM airport transfer, delivered dinner and shisha to us on the rooftop most nights, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The apartment was nice enough to live in and we felt so comfortable here after travelling rather non-stop for several weeks-- 5 days wasn't enough! The location is in a very local part of the West Bank, away from any tourist bustle but still 15min walk to the river where you can get a ferry across to the temples for about 25egp per person. Would 1000% recommend and will definitely stay again next time we're in Luxor!!
