After really disappointing hotels in Cairo and Luxor in the same range, this one really exceeded my expectations. It’s on an island, but don’t worry, it’s really easy and cheap to get across with a public ferry for 15-20 egp during daytime hours, and even during the night, when the price is 75-100 egp because they transport only you. The staff is really nice, the garden fabolous and smell so nice, the rooms are super clean (cleaning lady will empty your trash and make your bed every day), you get all the toiletaries and two towels, even complimentary peanuts awaits you in the room. In the main hall, they have a fridge with water and sodas you can buy for a regular price, and you can also use that fridge for you own food. It's super quiet since there is no traffic on the island. Having a quiet room is something you really need when you travel around Egypt.

It was a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, always ready to help and share information about the island and its history. Their hospitality made my trip even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was that the hotel allowed me to store my luggage overnight for free, which was very convenient and thoughtful. The room was also very clean and comfortable, meeting all my expectations.

I traveled alone and there weren't many guests there, but he made sure I enjoyed my time. Restaurant on the site is very convenient and you can enjoy your food in a private terrace. I ended up spending a lot of time on that terrace, just relaxing.

The breakfast was amazing and the view from the terrace could not be beat. The house is also very close to the public ferry coming from the East Bank.

We enjoyed the pool at the end of the day after we were done exploring different archeological sites.

This was the best hotel I stayed out of 4 (up to 4 stars) during my trip in Egypt. The owner, Fatima, and the manager welcomed me with smile and tea and made sure that I feel comfortable. Once I learned that I’ll be the only guest for the first night, I was a little worried but Fatima and her lovely daughter, Rana who is a little shy and well behaved, kindly stayed over at the property. They offer you couple tour options but once you clarify your preference, they are not pushy at all. The view from the room and the balcony is stunning and I had nice chilling evenings. You can reach to several restaurant and a shop by walk as well as to the main island by boat 24/7 with just 10EGP during the day or 50EGP at night. The property is basic but has good wifi and a warm shower. If I have a chance to visit again, I would like to stay for a week to do nothing but to relax.

The location on the island gives a wonderful experience of village life with no cars or rickshaws. Excellent breakfast cooked fresh for me. I highly recommend if you're staying in Aswan and want a simple comfortable experience of Egyptian life.
