Cozy and comfortable apartment, great bed with comfy linens, nice shower with 2 grab bars for guest safety, towel warmer, lots of space around the bathroom sink to set toiletries, plenty of electrical outlets to charge devices, strong wifi.  Brilliant towel exchange process (clean ones delivered to your door in a bag with another bag included to place dirty ones) — extremely efficient!  Super nice touch to provide paper towels in the kitchen — so rare for apartments to do this and it was very much appreciated!  Easy street parking.  Good location for reaching all parts of the island.  Helpful reception staff with special thanks to Barbara for her kindness.

Cala Llonga Hotel is located on the Menorcan coast, facing Mahón Harbor. It has an outdoor swimming pool with children’s pool, sea views and gardens.

Really glad we found this property. ChatGPT originally suggested staying in Ciutadella, but then we came across this place and we’re so glad we booked it instead. The beach is one of the best on the northern coast if you prefer beaches with restaurants, bars and all the facilities. It’s only about a 5-minute walk from the flat. There’s a shared pool and an Irish pub if you prefer that kind of holiday. The flat has everything you need and the air conditioning works really well. Check-in is via a key box, so it’s quick and easy. Parking was never an issue. We always found a space. There’s also a supermarket nearby (about a 2-minute walk away) with literally everything you might need. The restaurants are ok too, especially the ones a bit farther from the beach. We really liked Good Bridge for meat and Blue Arenal for paella and seafood. That said, for better quality and better value, I’d recommend eating in one of the restaurants in Es Mercadal. It’s a great option for lunch because it’s on the way back from most of the beaches. The location is great for exploring the island. It’s about 20 minutes by car from the airport and around 30 to 40 minutes from pretty much every other beach. We’ll definitely stay here again if we come back to Menorca.
