I truly loved everything about Mario Lakeside. The location is peaceful and beautiful, right by the lake — perfect for relaxing. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. What made this place special is the heart behind it. The owner, Pak Ali, is a kind and inspiring person. He also runs a foundation for children with cleft lips in Sumatra — which made my stay feel even more meaningful. Upstairs, there’s a vegetarian café with delicious food. They grow some of their ingredients on-site (farm-to-table concept), and I was blown away by the haloumi sandwich – they even import the cheese from the UK! It’s not just a place to stay, it’s a place that stays with you. I’d definitely come back if I visit Toba again.

Matatagpuan sa Bukit Lawang, ang Jungle treking & Jungle Tour if you want to stay here, you must book treking only with us ay nag-aalok ng hardin. The staff and the owner Tamrin are very helpful and kind! I had an amazing stay and the Jungle tour I booked with them was incredible! The rooms are very simple, but have everything you need. I definitely recommend coming here!

My family and I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful, newly built villa as the first guests. The house is very bright, lovely decorated and very spacious. It's situated directly on the stunning white sand beach with a wonderful view of the turquoise ocean and nearby little islands. It has two bedrooms, well well-equipped kitchen and large living areas. We were warmly welcomed by a manager at the harbour. All the transportation, boat trips to the islands and the car rental were also easily arranged for us by the owner. The villa is situated in the heart of the main village, so you have easy access to the shops and local warnings. You can watch the fishermen in the morning and easily blend with the local people who are always incredibly friendly.

The Hosts are very lovely and welcoming people. They can speak English and are always trying to help you if you ask them something. The homestay was very clean and the room was comfortable and equipped with a fan and a key There is a kitchen and 2 showers that are simple but very clean and easy to use

Matatagpuan ang SEE BUKIT LAWANG Homestay & Tours sa Bukit Lawang at nag-aalok ng mga libreng bisikleta. Nag-aalok ang accommodation na ito ng access sa terrace at libreng private parking. Rating: 10/10 I really enjoyed my stay here. It was a beautiful place and I had a great time. It was possible to make tea and coffee without paying extra and it would have been possible to watch TV. The owner Izoen was very friendly and helpful. I felt very welcome and relaxed. I only regret not planning more time to relax in Bukit Lawang. I hope to come back one day!

Matatagpuan sa Katiet sa rehiyon ng Sumatra, ang Valhalla Mentawai ay mayroon ng hardin. Nag-aalok ang beachfront accommodation na ito ng access sa terrace, libreng private parking, at libreng WiFi. We wanted somewhere different to spend Christmas and came across Valhalla house online, the house was as amazing as it looks in the pictures and was right on the beach that you have to yourself! The house was clean & comfortable and had everything we needed - water, towels, cooking facilities etc! As the island was quite remote we were struggling to find how to get there and get around but Marcelo, the host, went above and beyond to help us out with flights and ferries. His communication was great, and he gave us some great food recommendations as well as a contact for surf lessons, which we all really enjoyed on Christmas day, and was just so helpful with all of the questions we had! Marcelo also put us in touch with a local, Dolman, who drove us to and from the airport, even though the roads were bad he made it so easy for us to get around by providing bikes at a really good price. Overall we had an amazing stay at Valhalla and would recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing time on a paradise island, surrounded by local culture, beautiful beaches and lots surfing!!

Naglalaan ng mga tanawin ng ilog, ang Batu Ridi Jungle sa Timbanglawang ay naglalaan ng accommodation, hardin, terrace, restaurant, at bar. This place is just amazing. So chill and peaceful — right in the middle of the jungle. There’s not a lot to do here, but honestly, that’s exactly the point. The people are super kind and show you a lot about local life. You’re completely surrounded by nature — it doesn’t get more authentic than this. We first stayed in the city, but I’d come here ten times over instead. I planned to stay one night and ended up staying two weeks. Absolutely loved it!
