Situated in Ainan and only 600 metres from Kanjizaiji Temple, 町の中心地 星もきれいな貸切宿 "うみいろキャビン " "umiiro cabin" features accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. The apartment is wonderful. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is excellent, and so is the kitchen. Parking is right next to the entrance. The area is very quiet. Self check-in was easy. As a bonus, there were sherberts from the host's farm waiting for us that were absolutely delicious.

Situated 35 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, みやうら御殿 offers 2-star accommodation in Imabari and features a garden. This apartment features free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Host was very friendly and helpful. Nice communal areas. It felt open and roomy compared to our Tokyo and Kyoto tiny hotel rooms. There are three bathrooms and showers which was enough, and there was a nice place to sit and have coffee by the pond. Really nice view. Free tea and the kitchen/fridge is available to use. Free laundry machine and powder. About 50 steps of steep hill to the building, which was totally fine - you can't get the view without going up!

Situated just 26 km from Mishima Shrine, ゲストハウス 西村サイクル（24C） features accommodation in Izume with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. This is the BEST guest house we've stayed in during our time in Japan. It is spacious, modern, immaculate, and comfortable. We cooked a lovely dinner in the well-appointed kitchen (there is a grocery store within walking distance). There were a few condiments and other things should you need just a bit of something. We also did laundry (hung some outside and some in the bathroom with this neat air heating machine). The shampoo and hand soap is absolutely lovely and worth a mention. There are a couple fun extras like a mini ping pong table and a tiny gaming console. Shin is a lovely and kind host, providing route and sightseeing recommendations. We only wish we had stayed longer!

Offering a garden and mountain view, ゲストハウス こごみ庵 is situated in Shikokuchuo, 42 km from Yamane Park and 43 km from Zuioji Temple. It was so good we stayed twice! Remi and Toyo really looked after us so well we had a really lovely time. The traditional house is so beautiful and the futons comfy and warm. Overall a great stay!

Situated in Matsuyama in the Ehime region with Hantaji Temple and Aeon Style Shopping Centre Matsuyama nearby, 民泊 月 provides accommodation with access to a hot tub. House was in a good location close to restaurants and supermarkets. About a 7 minute walk to train station. Everything was lovely and clean and beds were comfortable. It was well equipped. Communication was very good with host and instructions for gaining key access were easy to follow.

Situated in Ainan, 8.2 km from Shidenkai Museum and 17 km from Sukumo City History Museum, 波止場の海まで徒歩30秒の貸切宿 "ギョグンミニ" "Gyogun Mini" offers a garden and air conditioning. We really enjoyed our short visit here and the sorbet was delicious
