Perfect for a family of 4. Great location, close to convenience stores and restaurants. Helpful staff member assisted our Yamato transfer service. Luggage storage and eary check-in. Comfortable beds and very quiet.

ORI Kyoto er staðsett í innan við 600 metra fjarlægð frá Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan-ráðstefnumiðstöðinni og 1,7 km frá alþjóðlega Manga-safninu í miðbæ Kyoto. We picked this hotel because of its location (quiet residential area but at the same time close to various shops and well connected to the main tourist areas by bus and subway). The best part was the availability of the staff: we made a mistake with our booking and they were able to help us out and save our trip. Thank you for everything, and we will be back once we return to Kyoto.

The room was spacious and comfortable. A quiet area. Everything you need including a washing machine with hangers etc and a large balcony to dry clothes.

Featuring a garden, a shared lounge as well as a terrace, MIMARU Kyoto Kawaramachi Gojo is located in the centre of Kyoto, 1.2 km from Gion Shijo Station. Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at Mimaru. The staff went above and beyond to assist us and were outstanding! Thank you! The neighbourhood is quieter than the main tourist area and not very difficult to get around. We took buses, the metro, and walked. But the best transport were the bicycles we hired from a bike store across the street. It was fast, fun and safe to ride around Kyoto on bicycles like a local! The hotel has a few bike parking spaces which was very convenient. The laundry room in the hotel was great and had enough machines and a money machine to exchange bills for 100yen coins. The hotel has a small exercise room which is useful. The room was more spacious than expected, very clean with everything that we needed. The windows could be opened for fresh air when needed. There is a good sized grocery store almost opposite the hotel with fresh food and most products you’d require. We would definitely return to this Mimaru!
