The place was super clean, the beds were comfortable, and everything you needed was there. The area around is great for exploring. I rented a bike on one of the days from the host and had a really good day riding around. Another day I went to a neighboring village and explored the shrines and the coastline. The host was very friendly and offers dinner each night, which was actually really good. I got to meet some local Japanese people who were very welcoming and we ended up doing karaoke together - fun night. Would definitely recommend this place, especially if you're looking for something a bit more relaxed and authentic.
