Communication with the Japanese owner not a problem as he could speak good English. Within the unit, cleanliness in tip-top condition. The living room with a very comfortable sofa, huge dinning table sufficient for 6 pax use, nicely sized shower room, etc. Everything within the unit looks newly furnished and in excellent condition. Beddings are very comfortable, perfect for good rest. Air conditioning keeping the unit in comfortable temperature. Supermarket and F&B establishments are just a few minutes drive away. Surrounding environment is peaceful and terrific. This place has been the best my family ever stayed among the many overseas trips our family had. Owner even popped by to say Good Bye despite our family leaving the unit in early hours in the morning. Highly recommended.

Situated in Nanto, 29 km from Kanazawa Castle and 29 km from Kenrokuen Garden, 越中城端 荒町庵 offers air conditioning. It is located 35 km from Shirakawago and features private check-in and check-out. The building was very well designed it was a historical site. We liked the area it was in which was very beautiful. The staff was quick to reply to us and it have all the amenities one needed. The guide with it was very helpful when exploring Johana. We had booked to go to Shirokawa-Go but Johana was much better and the accommodation exceeded our expectations.
