We rented both houses since we were a couple and a single friend and we all had a lot of privacy and the whole place to ourselves but were able to hang together in the garden whenever we wanted. The owners live next door and were very nice, gifting us some traditional queijadas from Graciosa on departure.

The large garden is exceptional and we appreciated being encouraged to use it freely. The cottage is clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the welcome pack. Steffen and Karen were very accommodating when our flight time changed at the last minute, which was very much appreciated. They provided lots of information about the island, which helped us plan our week, spent exploring the island on foot and by bus. The cottage is conveniently placed for good walks, the bus stop and the local Graciosa is a lovely island to unwind and enjoy the countryside.

The house was perfectly equipped with all pieces of furnitures, utensils and other objects one could imagine may be of use during holidays. The hosts Karen and Steffen were extremely kind, friendly, hospitable and eager to help in every possible way.
