There were many complementary items such as snacks, rice, drinks, souvenir bags, and discount coupons for use with partner shops. There is a big lounge where you can sit and relax with a variety of drinks and snacks. Bicycles are available for free use. If I have the chance to visit Chishang, I will definitely stay here again.

It’s very new, is in a stunning location that may be the best in Luye. The rooms are huge, the styling is lovely, and it’s like a full service apartment with everything you could possibly want. We were on the top floor, and the view from our room was serene and beautiful. The other thing that I loved is that the bed was huge, and after 1 month in Taiwan it was the only Guesthouse we’ve stayed in where the bed was long enough for my feet to not hang off the end the end of the bed (my height is 6 ft 2 in).

Very clean and comfortable. I departed early in the morning and he still made me breakfast-very nice! Even gave me fruit and an energy drink for my bike ride. Cheers!

The owners are a lovely couple that would make you feel more than welcome! Their kindness is the highlight of the stay. Otherwise, the facilities are clean and of good value, not too far from the train station. Highly recommended!

Night markets were closed during my stay, which is sad, but be sure to check out the wet market at No. 263之1號, Zhengqi Rd in the morning (450 meters from the hostel) and the "dusk market" at No. 81-103 號, Hanyang N Rd in the evening.

The common areas are so inviting—a rooftop with views of the mountains and sea, perfect for yoga or relaxing in the hammock. There’s also a lovely patio with a deck, hammock, and outdoor dining area that made me feel completely at home.
