Country Cottage in Papa Bay Estates er staðsett á Hawaii-svæðinu og Pu'uhonua o Honaunau-þjóðgarðurinn er í innan við 31 km fjarlægð. It’s so important to have proper communication when travelling and I had that with Arthur (the owner). He was quick to respond and there to help anyway he could. He was kind enough to talk about the area and take me on a tour, which I enjoyed immensely. The tiny home has everything you need and is very comfortable. There’s clean drinking water, an equipped kitchen, an outdoor barbecue and other essentials (like a mini portable washer, beach towels and over the shoulder mini cooler) … the home’s very clean and comfortable and even the resident geckos are super friendly! I found they put a lot of thought into little details inside the cottage. The night sky is unbelievably beautiful and you also have an ocean view in a quiet and safe neighbourhood…I’m looking forward to coming back!

Red Cottage og Hawaiian Pond Garden Paradise eru með garðútsýni. Gististaðurinn er um 16 km frá Lava Tree State Monument og býður upp á gistirými með garði og svölum. I really enjoy the privacy and the comforts of the room. It is a nice getaway from home, peaceful and serene. I also like the open kitchen and patio area.

Private Ohana er staðsett í Honokaa, aðeins 46 km frá Hapuna-golfvellinum, við hina gróskumiklu Hamakua-strönd. Gististaðurinn er með gistirými með sjávarútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis... Perfect place to stay with your love one. Close to anywhere on Big Island, quiet and very comfy, highly recommended.

Hoomaikai Blessings státar af garðútsýni og gistirými með verönd, í um 12 km fjarlægð frá Lava Tree-þjóðgarðinum. Heitur pottur er í boði fyrir gesti. Everything is perfect. Kelly is the kindest person that we have met! She really cares of everyone! If you want to be happy, come to her house! The breakfast is amazing and completely done herself. Amazing!

Kilauea House er staðsett í eldfjallinu, 18 km frá Kilauea, 45 km frá Pana'ewa-regnskógardýragarðinum og 49 km frá University of Hawaii, Hilo. A lot of care is being put into running this place and you as a guest can feel it. The breakfasts in the morning were incredible and private with abundance of breakfast varieties. The hosts are very friendly and easy to contact, they also have good recommendations for the area. There is a small fireplace to enjoy during cold nights. You are very close to the National Park and some restaurants (still driving distance). Arriving before the tour busses can make the national park experience much better. Overall, one of the best experiences we have had. If we would return, it would be to this same place.

Kona Magic Honu Room býður upp á sjávarútsýni og gistirými með verönd, í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá White Sands Beach Park. The host was amazing! We arrived around 7:30 pm and were leaving early morning to catch a flight. The host still accommodated our laundry request (which was much needed prior to our next island hop). She provided us nearby restaurant recommendation which was perfect for our last night in Kona. The bed was very comfortable and everything was really clean! We got to play with the host’s cat as well. Highly recommend!

Volcano Eco Cabin Retreat er fjallaskáli í Volcano, 16 km frá Kilauea og 9,6 km frá inngangi Volcano-þjóðgarðsins. We stayed in the Eco Cabin. It was very cosy, clean and has everything you need. A great base for the national park (feels secluded but is not too far from things). Highly recommend.
