The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The view from the window was beautiful. It’s only a 3-minute walk to the ocean. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed our stay.

The cottage is a lovely "tiny house." It is off-grid, compact, well designed, and had everything I needed. I loved the screened in porch with a view of the ocean. It was so quiet and peaceful - I slept great there. It is off the beaten track but easy to find - a little sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of tourism. Yet is is not far from Kealakekua, Captain Cook town, Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park, and Ho`okena Beach. I enjoyed meeting and talking with Arthur, the host. I plan to stay there the next time I visit my family nearby.

This is an amazing adventure unlike anywhere else we have stayed on the Big Island. The accommodations are rustic and private and make you feel like you are in a jungle setting. When the sun has set, take your glass of wine and sit at the counter in the open air kitchen. The wildlife sounds are captivating. Feel at home atmosphere, very cosy, large living room perfect to relax. Kelly is a wonderful caring host who gave us lots of tips, told about Big Island and made delicious breakfast. Snacks, coffee and tea available. Simply great, highly reccommended.
