Realy good place! Its cosy and has a chill atmosphere. The owner is the best! Helpfull, kind with alot of tips on what to do in the area. I had a car so the location is amazing. Its a quiet small small town with apple orchard all around and view to the mountIns.

Fantastic experience at AIBIYA, the hosts were lovely and communicative. The rooms were quite nice, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend.

The most beautiful stay - the room was stunning, the hotel grounds are gorgeous (especially in autumn!) and they catered to our dietary requirements with a delicious vegetarian breakfast. The private onsen was such a treat too. The hotel is just a short walk to the gorgeous snow monkeys too which was so much fun. The staff are truly so welcoming. Make sure you buy a delicious, big apple from the sweet man selling fruit in the lobby some mornings!!!!!

The kindness and hospitality of the host. Akira was super helpful and caring during my stay. He helped out in everything I need, even helped me to call to see if there's any instant film around. I ordered dinner which is not in my plan, food was well prepared and tasted fresh and yummy. The next day Akira drove me to the Monkey park, after that he went to pick fresh bamboo shoots from the mountain, which is the fresh food I ate the other night. Last but the most helpful mama, she so strong and kind, picked me up from the monkey park and helped caught the train back to town. Overall a perfect stay here and one of my best memories in this trip.

The outside Onsen is just gorgeous! We loved that you can reserve it for private use in the evenings. We highly recommend the traditional Japanese breakfast. Centrally located just below the train station.

We LOVED our stay. The owners and friendly, kind, helpful and welcoming. Our room was large with a private wash closet. (Shower room is common). They picked us up and dropped us to the train, took us up to the snow monkeys and offered suggestions and advice about locations in town. They are always kind and we were happy to run into them in the hallways and say hello. They have male and woman baths and a private osen also available. You can place your order a traditional breakfast in advance of the morning if you want one. They have a map of the local area with recommendations for food. We really enjoyed our stay.

The atmosphere of the place was amazing. Traditional looking building with the best private onsens, the outside one being magical, especially in the snow. Complimentary yakuta to wear made it even better. The host was eager to please and very friendly, giving out hand made origami.

A small 6-room inn with Ryokan meals and cozy interiors, Yasuragi is just a few minutes drive to Jigokudani Monkey Park and an 8-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station. Hot-spring baths are featured....

The staff warmly welcomed us and offered shuttle service from the train station to the snow monkey park, then from the hotel to the train station. They have a print out of the timetable of all trains departing to Nagano, which was very helpful. We took the option to dine in the hotel, and it was the best decision ever. The Japanese style dinner was delicious, especially the beef. The onsen is very nice, and you can use it privately, so my fiancé and I could bathe in the same onsen. Although it is a Japanese style room and you sleep on a futton, it was very comfortable.
