The hosts were extremely welcoming, I've never experienced anything like it. It felt like you were staying in your own chalet with friends and family and they offered freshly cooked meals and breakfast. If you are a couple planning a few quiet days in the Swiss mountains, this is definitely the place to go, no doubt about it!

Magnifique appartement aux Diablerets avec vue er staðsett í Les Diablerets og býður upp á gufubað. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að svölum, minigolf, ókeypis einkabílastæði og ókeypis WiFi. Breakfast was not available, but the apartment had a kitchen, so I was able to go grocery shopping and cook for myself. I unfortunately had a bit of trouble learning how to adjust the thermostat, but figured it out eventually. The complex had a gym and laundromat, which was a bonus. Parking was easy and close to where my convention was. Excellent view of the mountains and lower Les Diablerets. Highly recommend.

Maison d'hotes Ermitage er staðsett í Chateau-d'Oex, 23 km frá Rochers de Naye og býður upp á gistirými með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, verönd og veitingastað. Clean and cozy, design is a combination of old and the new. Everybody was very nice and warm. Feber the retriever was especially friendly. 😃

B&B Le Berceau er staðsett í Chateau-d'Oex, 24 km frá Rochers de Naye og 47 km frá Chillon-kastala. Boðið er upp á garð- og fjallaútsýni. Rooms were all clean, the service was nice and friendly. The staff was welcoming, the breakfast was awesome; all tasty and organic. I highly reccomend it here.

Hið fjölskyldurekna Chambres d'hôtes Chez Epicure er staðsett í Lignerolle, 7 km frá frönsku landamærunum og 20 km frá Yverdon-les-Bains. Staðsett í sögulegri byggingu. Audrey and Philippe are such wonderful hosts, we felt right at home! We came with 3 bikes doing a larger bike trek, and it was great to be able to store our bikes in the garage (and pump up the tires), have a great meal (both for dinner and breakfast) with produce and dairy from the region, adjusted to one of our vegetarian diets, and enjoy their company and hospitality. We also really enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi as a way to relax after a long day of cycling. The village is pretty, and it's perfectly located along different outdoor routes (hiking/cycling). We stayed in the dortoir, which was exactly what we wanted! Many thanks.
