Urasa Cottage @ Snow Countryside er nýlega enduruppgerður gististaður í Minami Uonuma og býður upp á loftkæld herbergi með ókeypis WiFi og einkabílastæði. Clean, tidy, comfortable bed and Hongjie (staff) was extremely kind and gave us a lift to nearby ski resort AND let us leave bags at the cottage AND picked us up from skiing AND gave us a lift to the station.

This quirky house has been lovingly restored and updated by Nobu and her family who live next door. The amount and types of wood used in the construction of the house is incredible, from the wooden staircase and hand-crafted hand rail, to the curved wooden bathroom, giving the feel that you are inside a barrel. It includes the washing machine, a huge shower room and separate, very snazzy toilet. With all mod cons, we had a very comfortable week here. Even the futons were OK for this old, unaccustomed body. The bedroom is covered in beautiful, traditional tatami. The 3rd floor loft has a hammock and chairs with lovely views of the countryside, which you can also enjoy from the dining table downstairs. The kitchen is well equipped and basic condiments are provided (oil etc), so it was easy to self cater. The house has air conditioners upstairs and down as well as kerosene heaters so we were very cosy despite record amounts of snow. We parked directly out front and the watering hose did a good job keep the area clear of snow. The supplied snow shovel and brush were a life saver. Our host family were sweet, taking time to ensure we understood all the facilities and gave us gifts of local food.

Yado Brodiaea er fullkomlega staðsett í Ikenotaira Onsen-hverfinu í Myoko, 31 km frá Zenkoji-hofinu, 33 km frá Nagano-stöðinni og 43 km frá dýragarðinum í Suzaka. Very friendly, helpful staff and delicious brekkie

Pension Moomin Papa er staðsett í Myoko, 31 km frá Zenkoji-hofinu og 33 km frá Nagano-lestarstöðinni. Boðið er upp á gistirými með ókeypis WiFi, loftkælingu, garði og sameiginlegri setustofu. Papa drove us everywhere we wanted. We appreciate this ☺️ Papa provided an onsen.

Belle Vue Nishiura er staðsett í Minami Uonuma á Niigata-svæðinu, í 3 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Ishiuchi-Maruyama-skíðasvæðinu og býður upp á skíðageymslu og aðgang að skíðabrekkunum alveg að dyrunum.... The hotel is a hidden gem. Mr. Satoshi is kind and helpful. Pick-up service from station is great. We’re lucky that the snow is awesome during our stay.

Maruyama Onsen Kojyokan er staðsett í Minami Uonuma, 2 km frá Maiko-skíðadvalarstaðnum, og býður upp á verönd og hverabað. Ókeypis einkabílastæði eru í boði á staðnum. Superb experience, we travelled to Echigo Yuzawa for 大地の芸術祭 Echigo Tsumari, to have better explore of the Event, we selected this hotel. The hotel provided a superb services, includes station pick up and drop off. Everything is great. The buffet breakfast is bery good.

Yuzawa Grand hotel gave us the best Japan cultural immersion experience. Our room had both the western style bed but with Japanese tatamis and spare futons. This has been the highlight of our Japan trip as we experienced eating oranges in a low Japanese table, sleep in futons, experience the amazing Onsens Hot springs both indoor and outdoor. The hotel is very engaging, clean, accommodating-- i cannot praise it enough. It is also in this hotel that we tried sukiyaki for the first time and many amazing dishes and seafood in both their breakfast and dinner offers. We would really love to visit again in a few years time hopefully:)

We enjoyed our stay! Everything was excellent and Mieko assisted with whatever queries we had. The breakfast was very tasty, and the location was very convenient.

Set within 2 km of Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort and 22 km of Naeba Ski Resort, Guest house SENWA offers rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Yuzawa. Amazingly friendly staff, Naoto was very accommodating, excellent clean facilities, and comfortable bed. The Ofuro was particularly good. Will definately be staying again.
