We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful, authentic old Japanese home. Its location is perfect for exploring the Echigo-Tsumari Art Festival, and there are plenty of onsens (hot springs) to enjoy nearby.We didn't even use the shower, preferring the onsens! ​The house itself is a hidden gem, a testament to the owners' wonderful aesthetic sense. It's filled with beautiful old and antique Japanese treasures. It is clean, well-maintained, and truly a piece of art in its own right. Above all, the owners were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit.

Yado Brodiaea er fullkomlega staðsett í Ikenotaira Onsen-hverfinu í Myoko, 31 km frá Zenkoji-hofinu, 33 km frá Nagano-stöðinni og 43 km frá dýragarðinum í Suzaka. The hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming and accommodating. They provide a variety of information and recommendations and really try their best through the language barrier. Location was very close to a number of resorts (we also had a car). Breakfast was very filling and at a great price. The host also has access to discounted tickets for resorts in the area. We were very sad to leave.

Pension Moomin Papa is a very cute and cosy home from home. It was very warm with lovely underfloor heating, clean and tidy. You can order home cooked breakfast and dinner. The other travellers were nice and friendly. I loved my stay here!

I arrived at the closest station at around 8pm and it got so dark. Usually I would take care of myself, but I saw the photo list poster of the criminals at the station and there was just no one on the street. I texted to the owner that I was scared walking to the hotel, then the owner drove to pick me up immediately. I felt very thankful for that. The hotel was comfortable, clean and with a mountain View. There was also an onsen in the shower room. Free tea and coffee in the large dining room, which also have a pretty view. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Featuring 10 uniquely designed hot spring baths, Shosenkaku Kagetsu provides Japanese-style accommodation just a 5-minute walk from JR Echigo Yuzawa Train Station. The property was very clean and staff were very helpful. We were in a newly decorated room. It was lovely - beautiful, comfortable and large.

Mieko-san and the rest of the team are super! It was well organized and breakfast + dinner are tasty. The room is big and comfortable with nice mountain view.. Close to the ski lift and there are many restaurants around. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
