Matatagpuan 24 km mula sa Gala Yuzawa Snow Resort, nag-aalok ang Noka Minshuku Sanzen ng hardin, terrace, at naka-air condition na accommodation na may balcony at libreng WiFi. We are so glad to find this gem! The hosts, including the cat, Mame, were most kind, warm, and hospitable. We went to the restaurants that they recommended. Ichihiro was superb, so good that we went twice! The host drove us there and back so that we could enjoy sake. The place is just lovely - the decor, the space. Everything works well. Heating was great as the weather turned cold. Appreciate the washing machine too. Despite the language barrier, we communicated well. Sincerely appreciate the oranges and persimmons that they gave us. They were so delicious!

Matatagpuan sa Myoko, 31 km mula sa Zenkō-ji Temple at 33 km mula sa Nagano Station, nagtatampok ang Pension Moomin Papa ng accommodation na may libreng WiFi, air conditioning, hardin, at shared... My sister and I went to Myoko Kogen for a ski week. We stayed at this Pension. Papa was so generous to pick us up at the train station and return us at the end of our trip. He was also really good about helping us to the 2 neighboring ski resorts. I will say if you want to ski Seki or resorts outside of town, he unfortunately doesn't have time. The bus system wasn't working either. The breakfast was standard, good for the value and prompt. The location was walking distance to places to eat and a bus stop. The hosts were extremely kind.

Offering ski-to-door access and ski storage space, Belle Vue Nishiura is located in Minami Uonuma in the Niigata Region, a 3-minute walk from Ishiuchi-Maruyama Ski Resort. Satoshi-san is extremely helpful and accommodating in ensuring my family of four has an enjoyable time. He helped with our luggage and provided transportation to and from Echigo Yuzawa Station during check in/out and also to nearby ski resorts because Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort did not have sufficient snow. Many thanks to him and his staff!!

Offering a terrace and hot spring bath, Maruyama Onsen Kojyokan is situated in Minami Uonuma, 2 km from Maiko Snow Resort. Free private parking is available on site. Truly one of the most wonderful inns I’ve stayed at in all of my times in Japan! The place is immaculate and feels lovely and new while also having a wonderful 「懐かしい」 vibe to it. From the very start all of the staff were kind and considerate and showed us all the ropes! I adored that the entry into the rooms is all keyless—there’s touch keypads on the doors! We tried all three baths since we reserved the wonderful private rooftop bath. As an FYI for anyone unaccustomed to such a thing, the rooms themselves do not have showers—you’re meant to use the bath areas for your cleaning, so if you’re uncomfortable with the onsen experience in Japan just be aware! You totally should get over your anxieties and use the bath though—they’re relaxing and luxuriant! We had one dinner with them and two breakfasts, and all of the food was absolutely delightful! The breakfast was buffet style and full of local/seasonal ingredients, and the dinner was course after course and we were very very well fed. All in all, I can’t say enough wonderful things. We adored our stay!

Yuzawa Grand Hotel is within a 2-minute walk from Echigo Yuzawa Train Station and the Sake Museum. It offers 3 public baths, a massage service and free parking on site. The food at breakfast and dinner was varied and exceptional. All of the dishes I tried I liked , and they had a nice variety of western and Japanese. The room we had was huge and very comfortable. The onsen facilities were excellent, and very well kept. We are skiers and this hotel was very well setup for skiers. They have locker rooms for storage as well as changing, and on checkout day you can leave all your luggage , go ski, come back and change and then leave. But what makes this hotel a standout is the staff. I speak limited Japanese but had no issues communicating with the staff either speaking directly to them or using google translate. They are kind, patient and will do anything to help you. On checkout day, we went skiing and came back at 11:30 and needed to use the courier service taqubin which is conveniently located inside the hotel gift shop. However, we failed to notice beforehand that the shop takes a close break from 11:30 until 3:30 and our train leaves at 3;15. We were very stressed but the lady who runs the store and handles the courier said no problem, she would stay open just for us and give us time to change out of our ski clothes ,repack our ski gear and come back. It took us longer than we thought to repack and change because we had some trouble locating the ski bag as it was behind the counter in long storage. It didn’t matter, she still waited and when we finally finished she patiently helped us with the forms and everything was handled . When we left again for the station we had some time to wait so we purchased some small sweets and went back to give them to the staff as a thank you for all their exceptional efforts and help with our stay . They seemed genuinely surprised and happy and then walked out to wave us goodbye! How nice and a great happy surprise for us! We cannot recommend this hotel enough and we will be back someday.

Featuring 10 uniquely designed hot spring baths, Shosenkaku Kagetsu provides Japanese-style accommodation just a 5-minute walk from JR Echigo Yuzawa Train Station. Amazing stuff, great location, beautiful scenery!!!

Makikita sa tahimik na landscapes, nag-aalok ang Kogakuro ng mga magagandang Japanese-style room na may maraming natural na liwanag. Awesome cultural experience, convient to some of the best powder skiing, onsen soak after day of skiing, all staff - from the kindest owner to her Japanese and seasonal team from Australia was so helpful... overall the best!
