The place is a country side atmosphere, with wood interiors and comfortable furniture Breakfast was delicious and the owner was amazingly kind and polite . I forgot my pillow on the check out day and the owner kindly arranged to send it back to my house without charges .

They give very good advice on the area and the Onsen. The place is spotless clean, beautiful and very quiet and comfortable. For a fee, you have access to Onsen in neighboring hotels. The town of Yudanaka is also very nice. The hotel is very close to the train station. From there, you can take a bus to the Snow Monkey Park. Convenience store, bars and restaurants are all walking distance too. If you need to do laundry, be aware that you have to start it before 8pm (might be good to know if you're traveling around and didn't have time to do it before).

Boasting open-air hot spring baths, a heated indoor pool and beautiful Japanese gardens, Senjukaku offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation that has a historic charm. Staff was adorable, amazing food, comfortable suites.

A thoroughly excellent hotel with kind staff and good facilities. It's located minutes away from the Yokoteyama area which is great for all skiing abilities. The hotel itself is a ways away from other locations so it's definitely on the quieter side. The staff here are exceptional, easy going, and attentive. We built a ski jump out the front of the hotel and they were absolutely fine with it, not many places would let you do that in my experience. The snowmobiling tour was great, the food was excellent, and Sachi is very cute.

Yudanaka Onsen Yamazakiya er í aðeins 10 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Snow Monkey Park og býður upp á einföld gistirými í japönskum stíl með ókeypis WiFi. Everything was absolutely perfect. The private onsen, the room, and the location were all top tier. The facilities were so lovely and everyone was so accommodating. We had to rush out in the morning, so we didn’t have time to properly thank Akira or his mother.

The rooms were very nice, the owners provides yukatas as well. The location is superb - a short walk to the Snow Monkey Park - you can also arrange a transport with the owners without extra charge. The outside onsen is beautiful. Even though some things are older I do not mind that as everything was very well taken care of and clean.

Very spacious and beautifully presented rooms in traditional Ryokan in the middle of Shibu Onsen. Comfortable Tatami beds. Great to have private toilet. The onsite outdoor private Onsen and inside (male/female) onsens were fantastic. Loved the supplied Yukata and Geta for the Onsens. Key supplied for all public onsens through town. The owners were so helpful and kind, driving us to and from snow monkeys and to Yudanaka station for our train. Enjoyed the traditional home made breakfast delivered to our room at reasonable price in beautiful bento box.
