Excellent location and very pleasant facilities.

My wife and I just spent a week at Reunion. It is hard to convey in a few words the real beauty of this place. We have stayed at a number of stunning places around the world, but this was the most inspiring, peaceful, healthy, restorative place we have been. We first visited this place in 2020 when it was called Hotel Sugar Beach and we knew we wanted to return someday. It was purchased by new owners in 2020, then renovated and turned into a site that was primarily focused on retreats of various kinds (meditation, yoga, plant medicine etc.). Recently, the owners opened the place to guests on dates between the retreats so if you are booking the rooms on the various travel websites, you will find a number of dates blocked off each month. And since they just opened this as a hotel, there are not a lot of reviews. We loved all the changes and renovations they have done. There is a new infra-red sauna alongside new hot and cold plunge pools. The main pool was renovated. The grounds are well maintained with a focus on a peaceful restorative environment. One of the changes, is that the price now includes three meals a day. This is buffet style and is focused on health. For my wife and I, the meals were perfect but they may not be for everyone expecting American fare. There are lots of fresh fruit choices (e.g., papaya, watermelon, cantaloupe) and different veggies every day with low salt. There was always a protein, with eggs and potatoes available in the morning and for lunch and for dinner there were various preparations (tofu, chicken etc). They had excellent selections to make a nice salad with fresh local ingredients. And every day there were wonderful varieties of different sauces (cashew basil was my favorite). We would buy the chef's cook book if she had one. Each meal had fresh baked bread (whole wheat and gluten free) and various spreads. There is no dairy but they have various excellent replacements (almond butter, almond milk…).

Amazing staff and location! Pictures simply do not do this resort justice. Opt for the Sunset Villa

great location, nice beaches all around, activity options. Staff are very helpful and friendly . access road is a challange but worth the effort

Proximity to the beach is amazing. It is very close to all the restaurants and shops as well. The staff is very accommodating and helps you with your luggage and valets your car. The breakfast was good and the rooftop pool is very nice with great views.
