The breakfast was big and tasty and a large bowl of fruit on a deck overlooking the garden. The area is at the end of the road so it’s quiet. Nice pool and green garden feeling secluded. Very nice staff, clean room. Short walk to town.

Beautiful wood home in the middle of the rain forest. The host lives near by and brought us fresh breakfast every morning which was lovely because there is no easy way to get in and out to town without a car. The environment is so serine and peaceful. The most beautiful thing is the porch with humming birds eating breakfast when we are. There are also hammocks on the deck. It’s lush and green and beautiful. There are three rooms upstairs which was a nice change of pace from hotels. The host dominique, helped us arrange a driver she works with to pick up and drop off at activities, as well as book what she can, which was very helpful. Even though the house is not very close to the town, it is very close to the road that leads up and down to all the activities like hummingbird feeding, the Tarabita, zip lining, tubing, and mariposarium, etc. we really enjoyed our stay.

With mountain views, Eden Treehouse is located in Mindo and has a restaurant, room service, snack bar, garden, terrace and grill.

Since our flight to Ecuador was delayed we did not make it to the property in time to sleep at the treehouse. The next morning we were driving to the Tarabita and butterfly center and we passed Eden Treehouses so we stopped in to see what we had missed. The front desk woman was very friendly, but since we don’t speak Spanish, communication was difficult. I asked if my kids could look at a treehouse and she agreed. Very tall treehouse - my kids loved going up and looking at it. Thank you to the woman who kindly went out of her way as soon as I asked for a favor.

I booked a stay at Casa Colibrí for my girlfriend and I’s one year anniversary, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. When we arrived, we found “Feliz Aniversario” spelled out in rose petals on the bed. It was such a thoughtful and personal touch that made the night feel really special. Mariela was incredible and went above and beyond. She was at our beck and call for anything we needed, and her attention to detail made the whole experience seamless. On top of that, everything was absolutely immaculate. The property is spotless and beautifully maintained. This was exactly the romantic, memorable experience I was hoping for, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. I cannot recommend this property enough!

Beautiful property! Quit, lots of humming birds and beautiful foilage. Amazing staff, went out of their way to accommodate us. Definitely planning another trip back!
