The hotel has a nice historic feeling, but it was very well maintained and up to high standards. The restaurant was outstanding. Our room was extra spacious and had a great view on the mountains, the town and the sea. On the flip side you could hear the traffic on the street, but that did not bother us that much.

Chez Walter has rooms with views of its Mediterranean garden and is a 10-minute drive from Marana beaches.

We used this stopover before catching an early morning flight, mostly because it was within a 20min walk of the terminal. The room was clean and modern with a great bathroom with a huge shower. We spent the evening around the pool with it's nice relaxed vibe which was very welcome after traveling from Calvi with temperatures around 35 degc!

Only stayed one night, to have a resting day before heading back with the ferry the next day to Livorno. Staff and Reception welcome very friendly and helpful, room was given before check-in time. Thanks, this was a great bonus, although I was also offered to use the wellness area before check-in. Breakfast was good, more than you expect in Corsica. I had dinner at the hotels restaurant, was nice,however for the price I expected a bit more. I choose the Risotto with prawn (gambas), chefs recommendation. A big portion of rice - not really risotto - and three prawns, not much value for money. Very nice and efficient service and ambiente.
