The breakfast was outstanding. The dinner we had was also lovely. It is a very nice place to stay -- super cute and modern with a lovely view of La Spezia. It was a little hard to find and it is a hike from the train station but that's what makes it so enchanting.

I am a frequent traveler and I usually reside in 3-5 stars' hotels in different parts of the world. By far, Grand Hotel Portovenere gave me the best hotel experience that I ever had throughout more than 25 years of frequent travelling! The staff are our of this world with loads of care and support ! Ariana and Chiara in the reception were exceptional in the kind of support and genuine care that they offered allover our stay :) Anna S. in the restaurant was very careful to make us feel at home in every single meal! Everything about this hotel is exceptional; safety, cleanliness, location, breakfast, very delicious and typically Ligurian dinner, …, etc. I never rated a hotel with 10 (even very luxurious ones) - Yet, I would openly and gladly rate Grand Hotel Portovenere with a 10+

Where to start? The property is located in the heart of the old town with amazing views of the town and the sea. The inside is as good as any high end hotel and the outside - 2 terraces, furniture, hot tub - is even better. Its just the perfect place to absorb the Cinque Terra vibe. And after a full day out - a wonderful place to return to to relax…. The host - Veronica - is just the best. Nothing is too much trouble and she helped us to plan our 3 amazing days. She sent us boat times and train times - and generally helped to ensure that everything we did was fabulous. And breakfast - delicious and so much food, no need to eat again until the evening!

The staff is extremely kind and always available to help and give tips about local activities. The facility is absolutely stunning, very clean and in a cozy little village. The SPA is definitely worth trying. Vezzano Ligure is in a great location, very quiet and only 20 mins drive from La Spezia, Lerici and Sarzana. We had a great time!

Vezzano is a beautiful, small village at the top of the mountain with unique atmosphere, typical medieval concentric layout with narrow lanes lined with stone houses, splashed with color from flower boxes and pastel stucco. We liked it so much. We got detailed instruction from the owner, how to reach the apartment, but as we arrived late night it was even a challenge. The people are very nice and helpful, the views are magnificent, even from the windows of the apartment. Accommodation itself quite well equipped, harmonic and clean. Beds are quite comfortable.

I never had a more beautiful view from the balcony, i will remember it forever. Hotel location is great, breakfast was great every day, staff is nice and friendly. A small fridge helped a lot!

A beautiful cozy villa surrounded by garden with olive trees. Plenty of outdoor space to relax and lounge in the shade or sun bathe. Breathtaking views of the sea from every corner of the place, including an outdoor grilling and dining area. The villa is situated in Serra village, where you can find a nice restaurant, cafe and small grocery shop. 10 min walk to Lerici with more restaurants and sightseeing options. Great location to explore surrounding places and towns by car - we drove to Pisa, Portovenere and Cinco Terre villages. And when you come back after a hot day, you have a choice of cooling off in an outdoor pool or relaxing in an indoor jacuzzi. The host is great, very attentive and helpful! There are also dry and steam sauna facilities, making this place suitable for spring and autumn vacations as well. Wifi everywhere including the garden. Overall - highly recommended for relaxation and exploring the area!
