Fabulous pool and walking distance to Otranto old town

Paradise - amazing service from check-in to check-out. Room was perfect and had our own private jacuzzi/sun-loungers out the back. The facilities, food and staff were brilliant.

We had a great, great time at Masseria Mongiò. We booked one of the larger rooms, which featured two separate rooms with en suites and a small kitchen. We were travelling with my parents and this allowed us to be independent and have some privacy. The location is excellent: immersed in the countryside and literally just a few minutes from the beautiful beach of Baia dei Turchi. Everything during our stay was perfect. The room is very practical, beautifully thought out and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is glorious, with a wide range of food that changes every day. And the pool is fabulous. I want to single out two things. Food is exceptionally good: we stayed at the masseria for two dinners and the food was truly fantastic and very good value. But what really made our time at the masseria feel extra special was the staff: from the moment we arrived, everyone worked extra hard to make us feel welcome. They are very hard working, kind and welcoming, and very attuned to a guest’s needs - they do it all with great care and passion. We couldn’t recommend this place enough and we are already thinking about going back.

The perfect spot for R&R with a kind and accomodating staff. The first day, they granted us early check-in and we relaxed by their outodor pool area. The room was spacious, well equipped and we slept exceptionally well. The next morning, they granted us late check-out so that we could have time to use their spa. The spa was perfectly indulgent: a warm pool, a cold plunge pool, a sauna, a turkish bath, and a warm and cold foot massage pool. Plus, the woman managing it was kind and caring; preparing for us plates with cookies and fruits.

The hotel is in a quiet location overlooking the lake. The rooms are spacious and very clean. But the highlight is the staff. From the super friendly and competent ladies and gentlemen at reception to the warm ladies serving breakfast, everyone at this hotel is friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Brand new facility. Extra ordinary standard for Italy. Very clean and perfect. Parking on the premises (behind fance) possible. Great breakfast with home made cake (from mama). Andrea is a nice and courteous host.

Everything was wonderful! The owners, two brothers, were incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive. They also recommended a beautiful beach near the property, which we absolutely loved. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place!

Perfectly placed. Close to everything that mattered to me. Great to be able to get my laundry handled in the washing machine. Great kitchen facilities. Clean, quiet enough, air and water quaility was excellent.

The location is ideal for exploring the picturesque region of Salento, with many hidden gems recommended by the helpful staff. Overall, Palazzo Ducale Venturi offers a unique blend of history, luxury, and excellent service. I highly recommend it for a memorable and relaxing getaway.
