We recently stayed at Livingstone Lodge with our family, and to say it exceeded our expectations would be an understatement, we had an absolutely amazing time from start to finish! If you are considering a trip to Mabalingwe, this lodge comes highly recommended. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the private waterhole right at the lodge. We were treated to daily visits from an incredible array of wildlife, including ostriches, kudus, bushbuck, duikers, and warthogs. Sitting back and watching the animals come to drink was pure magic for both the adults and the kids. We rented a game viewing vehicle for our stay, which was worth every cent, we saw an abundance of wildlife on every single drive! We were fortunate enough to see the Big Five during our time in Mabalingwe, along with an incredible visit to the Boschpoort Predator Park inside the reserve to see the lions and cheetahs. A huge part of what made our holiday so special was the exceptional team. A big thank you to Lynette, who made the entire booking process completely seamless from start to finish. She provided us with all the details and information we needed beforehand, ensuring everything was effortless before we even arrived. A special thanks to Alex for taking us on an incredible night game drive, it was an unforgettable experience. Thank you so much to our housekeeper, Johanna, who worked tirelessly every day to keep the lodge spotless, tidy, and welcoming. All of the staff went out of their way to be warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We left with wonderful memories and can't wait to return. If you're looking for the ultimate bush getaway with luxury, comfort, and phenomenal wildlife sightings, Livingstone Lodge is the place to be.
