This really is a wonderful place, from the moment you arrive you feel welcomed. The interior and rooms are beautiful and very cosy yet luxurious. I can highly recommend anyone who visits Gmunden to stay here.

Located on the shore of Lake Traunsee, with direct lake access, Das Traunsee - Das Hotel zum See 4 Stern Superior is situated in the centre of Traunkirchen in the Salzkammergut, 10 km from Gmunden. Beautiful hotel at a great location. Very nice interior everywhere. The breakfast was really nice, and the dining area outstanding. My room was clean and cosy with a lovely view from the balcony. I would have preferred a little cooler indoor temperature though.

This 4-star superior hotel is located in the heart of Traunkirchen and offers two restaurants, a spa area with an infinity pool and lake access with a private swimming area. The location is amazing - the views are so picturesque! The staff are very nice and friendly, and even helped us fix the wheelchair when my wheel fell off! They give you good advice on what to see in the area and coupons. From Traunkirchen you can easily reach all other lakes (if you want to). The new spa on the top floor is luxurious and breathtaking. Breakfast is very good! Coffee is great. Loved that you can install apps on the TV, so I could watch a live TV channel from home and watch the news. So cool! Fast Wi-Fi.

Seegasthof Hois'n Wirt er staðsett við bakka Traun-vatns og býður upp á einkastrandsvæði og herbergi með ókeypis WiFi. Our stay was in Summer, wonderful private beach access for swimming in the lake. Plenty of hotel parking for guests and it was really easy. Wonderful restaurant as well. Great place to stay on the lake, would highly recommend. We hope to come again!

Just a short stroll from the scenic Traunsee Lake, our hotel is set in the picturesque mountain surroundings of the Salzkammergut region, ideally located between Gmunden and the heart of Altmünster. Great room - mirrors, huge bath, glass wall, styled nicely, comfy bed. You can get tea/coffee almost around the clock. The spa area is pleasant. Check-in was easy.
